Here's how you'll make a difference:

  • Support and advise headquarters, regional, and local teams on customer-facing transactions, product development, privacy, and AI-related questions.

  • Draft, negotiate, and maintain contracts and templates while creating processes that empower business teams to close deals efficiently.

  • Provide strategic guidance on privacy compliance and implement legally sound processes for AI usage within the company.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify legal risks and offer practical, business-minded solutions.

  • Act as a trusted legal partner to enable SoSafe’s rapid expansion across Europe and globally.

What makes you a great fit:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a commercial lawyer or in-house legal counsel within SaaS or Technology

  • Fully qualified lawyer in Germany or at least one of our regional market jurisdictions

  • Strong focus on commercial and/or regulatory law, ideally with experience across multiple jurisdictions.

  • Strong working knowledge of commercial contracting, privacy, and technology-related legal matters.

  • Familiarity with AI-related legal considerations, including advising on AI tools, use cases, policies, or governance.

  • Strategic thinker with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills—able to solve complex tasks in a legally accurate yet pragmatic and timely manner.

  • Excellent communication skills, assertive negotiation style, and confident presence.

  • Experience in European business, negotiating agreements governed by different jurisdictions.

  • Highly organized, independent, committed, and adaptable to change and challenges.

  • Strong business focus and ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy.

  • Nice to have: Experience with public procurement and tender processes in at least one core jurisdiction.

  • Language: Excellent English skills (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.

Location & Work Arrangement
  • Candidates applying from Ireland or the UK will work remotely.

  • Candidates based in Germany have the option to work remotely from their country or in a hybrid model from our offices in Germany.
