About Us

LoyaltyLion is a data-driven loyalty and engagement platform trusted by thousands of ecommerce brands worldwide. Merchants use LoyaltyLion when they want a loyalty program that is proven to increase customer engagement, retention and spend. Stores using LoyaltyLion typically generate at least $15 for every $1 they spend on the platform.

Today, LoyaltyLion works with over 10,000 small and medium sized retailers. Our mission is to help them succeed in the age of Amazon, where they may not be able to compete on price and logistics but can offer a better customer experience. An experience where customers feel valued, rather than just another number.

It’s been an incredible few years for LoyaltyLion. We closed funding of $12.5m in 2021 and another $12m in 2022. We’ve built out our Leadership team, amongst other key senior hires and we continue to set our sights high, achieving spots in both the Deloitte Fast 50 and the FT1000.

Oh, and did we mention our recent successes, such as our G2 reviews, where we are the no.1 in loyalty management in the world or where we've been voted No. 8 in the Best UK Software 2024 list...

As our Content Marketer you are responsible for creating the content that positions LoyaltyLion as the loyalty expert in the Shopify ecosystem. You create the content that proves to our prospects, partners and customers that our product is innovative, we drive revenue growth for great brands, and we’re thought leaders in our space.

Collaborating with colleagues across Partner Marketing, CRM, Product, Demand Generation, Sales and Customer Success as well as external partners such as our PR agency, you ensure the continuous production of high-quality content that drives success across all departments.

Key areas of responsibility:

- Content creation: You support LoyaltyLion’s brand strategy with content creation. This could be longer-form content such as blogs, case studies, or ebooks. It could also be shorter-form content such as landing page and social copy. You push the boundaries in terms of format in order to get more eyes on our content, experimenting with video editing, swipe through files, and much more

- Campaign support: You work closely with other members of the Brand team to ensure that they have all the content assets required to launch campaigns in the required timelines. You actively engage with campaigns, suggesting topics, formats, and distribution techniques in order to maximize the number of people who see the content

- Email marketing: You collaborate with our CRM Marketer to continually test and optimize different email copy, content, and templates to drive the greatest clickthrough rates and engagement. You meet the required deadlines to ensure that newsletters and marketing emails are distributed on schedule

- Social media management: You own the creation of social media posts and content, ensuring a regular stream of high-quality posts across typical channels, including LinkedIn and Facebook. You are also comfortable experimenting with new channels such as TikTok. You work with the Marketing Director to encourage more employee advocacy and create more buzz around the content you’re creating

- Content management: You own the upkeep and maintenance of our Content Hub, ensuring that all new content is added, tagged, and shared appropriately. You monitor usage of the platform and support other team members to ensure they are using our content effectively

- Editing and tone of voice: You are the gatekeeper for LoyaltyLion content, editing and reviewing content such as SEO blogs for consistency, and feeding back to team members when you spot errors or inconsistencies on our website or within sales/CS/partner materials. You have a high level of attention to detail and are unafraid to point out errors and train people on our tone of voice and brand style

- Competitor and industry research: You are continually researching, sharing, and building ideas from the content that others in our industry create. You collect and store inspiration from leaders in content marketing, and use that inspiration to elevate LoyaltyLion’s content production

Required attributes:

- You have demonstrated experience in Content Marketing and a passion for B2B SaaS products - you’re ready to take ownership of content creation

- You have excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and training to others

- You’re a people person, great at building strong working relationships across teams and managing different stakeholders

- You’re highly organised - managing multiple projects with competing timelines is second nature to you

- You have excellent attention to detail and enjoy quality control - you can easily identify and correct inconsistencies

- You’re inquisitive and curious, always looking for ways to improve processes and experiment to level up our marketing materials

- You have a good understanding of marketing channels and tactics and how content can be used to drive their success

- You’re comfortable with marketing automation and CMS tools (preferably HubSpot, Wordpress or similar)
