A professional looking to take their career to the next level; design and delivery of data driven oncology insights, supporting business development activity, development of new solutions and services to build lasting relationships across the industryAbout the TeamIQVIA’s UK-based Commercial Solutions team works closely with other IQVIA teams within UK Commercial Services and with the wider IQVIA organisation. Our role is to promote and support IQVIA’s portfolio of standardized commercial insight offerings. These offerings are used by our clients for tracking or on an ad hoc basis to support commercial decision making. Client engagements can be standalone projects or be a component of a broader engagement.Role SummaryAs a Senior Consultant you will be responsible for delivering high quality commercial consulting and insights projects to IQVIA’s clients. The role will involve project leadership and delivery, business development and sales support, project management, client support and offering development. The role will cover IQVIAs Oncology Dynamics portfolio.You will be central to driving excellent projects with our clients and be responsible for owning and delivering work independently, taking accountability to ensure deliverables are of the utmost quality, and that deadlines and budgets are met.You will proactively support the development of new business: identifying new opportunities, feasibility analyses, designing approaches, writing and delivering proposals to win business.We expect you to be self-sufficient but supported by senior managers and sales specialists.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead delivery of solutions focusing on IQVIA Oncology Dynamics, working closely with Sales Specialists, Key Account Managers and colleagues with delivery expertise in other functional areas. Your role will involve translating client requirements into meaningful deliverables, working with analysts to produce analysis and client-ready deliverables
  • The role requires the Senior Consultant to have comfort and credibility with scientific and medical teams as delivery and engagement maybe required outside of commercial teams at times.
  • The role also has requirements for being an author on posters/abstracts/papers. You will need to be comfortable reviewing data for publication, whilst not actual publication writing our clients have to include an IQVIA author who needs to be comfortable with thew data and involved in the publication process.
  • Own responsibility for project management, delivery and ongoing service to balance profitability while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and building strong partnerships with lead individuals within key accounts
  • Work in collaboration with the sales specialist to ensure that client briefs are well understood and develop fit for purpose approaches and solutions based on IQVIA Oncology Dynamics data or other IQVIA datasets if more relevant. E.g. by attending scoping meetings with clients, advising on feasibility and best approach
  • Develop and deliver high quality insight presentations and client training using Excel and PPT deliverables as well as PowerBI Dashboards
  • Collaborate with colleagues in other functions of IQVIA UK to define and deliver solutions to address cross-functional client needs
  • Liaise with Primary Intelligence and Consulting colleagues in other IQVIA country organisations to support the winning and delivery of multi-country projects with delivery to UK based clients
  • Comply with all relevant IQVIA policies, processes and procedures, and maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all information held, processed or communicated by IQVIA, in line with those policies, processes and procedures.
  • Raise the general profile of IQVIA in the oncology space by attending industry conferences and events, submitting articles to industry publications (working with clients to support client published publications), and attending in-person and virtual client events
  • Support offering and process development
  • Work with IQVIA colleagues to coordinate project methodologies and sales plans globally, and keep abreast of product updates and analytical capabilities
Skills, Education and Experience Required:
  • Minimum 2:1 honours degree
  • Previous business insights or commercial consulting experience in the Oncology sector
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills and a strong attention to detail
  • Able to support the execution of multiple complex projects at once within a team environment, to tight deadlines
  • Experience in leading the design and delivery of data driven projects and ongoing client management
  • Ability to build credibility and influence external and internal stakeholders
  • Good team player with strong interpersonal skills for influencing and advising
  • You will need to be eligible to work in the UK/EU without sponsorship
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) to a strong business standard
Beneficial Skills and Experience:
  • Track record of business development and supporting client pitch presentations
  • Proven commercial awareness / acumen
  • MS PowerPoint and Excel literacy
  • Ability to demonstrate determination and resilience
  • Passionate about leading people and can coach and mentor less experienced team members.
