Together, we deliver innovative and ethical solutions that help businesses achieve their ambitions faster.

Senior Compliance Officer

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and commercially aware individual contributor to join our Payments Compliance team as a Senior Compliance Officer for our Brand Integrity pillar. This role is focused on supporting the governance, execution, and continuous improvement of our brand-integrity programs, including network initiatives such as BRAM, VIRP, GRIP, and related oversight for complex merchant verticals such as payment facilitators, marketplaces, and other higher-scrutiny business models.
You will work at the intersection of Payments Compliance, Risk, Commercial, Partnerships, Legal, and Operations to help ensure our brand-integrity framework is consistently applied, well-documented, and scalable across regions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured problem-solving, cross-functional coordination, and turning policy and program requirements into practical execution.

What you'll do

  • Lead and coordinate program management activities across the Brand Integrity pillar, including network program tracking, escalations, remediation follow-up, documentation, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Support the operational governance of card-network and alternative payment method related integrity programs, ensuring requirements are tracked, communicated, and implemented consistently across teams and regions.
  • Manage program plans, trackers, decision logs, action items, and governance routines for brand-integrity initiatives and escalations.
  • Coordinate intake and triage of merchant, partner, and network-related issues that require brand-integrity review or follow-up.
  • Partner with the first line, Risk, Legal, Commercial, Partnerships, and regional stakeholders to ensure merchant-facing processes and internal governance are aligned.
  • Help maintain clear documentation, playbooks, and training materials for brand-integrity topics, program requirements, and escalation handling.
  • Track outstanding remediation items, open questions, deadlines, and dependencies to ensure programs move forward in a controlled and timely way.
  • Support reviews of higher-risk merchant verticals and models, including payment facilitators, marketplaces, and other areas that may create elevated brand, scheme, or reputational risk.
  • Identify repeat issues, process gaps, and control weaknesses, and help drive durable improvements with the broader team.
  • Prepare leadership updates and concise materials for governance forums, internal stakeholders, and external discussions where needed.
  • Help standardize how the team manages brand-integrity work globally, improving consistency, transparency, and follow-through.
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives that balance revenue opportunities with network, compliance, and reputational risk considerations.

Who you are

  • Around 5+ years of experience in program management, compliance, risk, operations, merchant oversight, or similarly cross-functional roles with experience working in payments, fintech, financial services, or another regulated environment is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with card-network compliance, merchant risk, high-risk verticals, or brand-integrity programs required.
  • Comfortable working across global teams and time zones, and able to drive progress without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated ability to build structure in ambiguous environments and maintain momentum on open-ended programs.
  • Experience working with merchant models such as payment facilitators or marketplaces is a plus.
  • Exposure to program trackers, governance routines, documentation workflows, or compliance operations is a plus.
  • A practical, solution-oriented mindset with a bias toward follow-through and execution quality.
