Job Title

Senior Compliance Analyst

What does a successful Card Scheme Senior Compliance Analyst do?

A successful Card Scheme Senior Compliance Analyst ensures Fiserv’s payment platforms comply with card scheme rules and regulatory requirements while enabling product and client growth. You will translate scheme publications into deliverable platform requirements, lead implementation of mandatory changes, and act as the primary scheme liaison for FirstVision EMEA and related platforms. You bring pragmatic problem solving, clear stakeholder communication, and a Partner in Possibility mindset to protect clients and maintain operational excellence.

What you will do:

  • Lead assessment of scheme and regulatory changes and define platform impact and business requirements.

  • Coordinate across product, engineering, operations, risk, and client teams to deliver high‑quality, timely solutions.

  • Produce and maintain project artifacts: business requirements, impact assessments, RAID logs, evidence packs, and status reports.

  • Manage scheme change programs and communications to ensure timely distribution and stakeholder awareness.

  • Perform gap analyses, recommend controls, and coordinate remediation plans to mitigate operational and compliance risk.

  • Act as the scheme contact during investigations, audits, and production incidents, driving resolution and lessons learned.

  • Support client migrations and product releases to ensure compliance‑by‑design on the processing platform.

  • Use project tools and principles (Clarity, Jira) to secure resources and progress delivery milestones.

What you will need to have:

  • Deep working knowledge of card scheme rules, message formats, transaction lifecycles, and chargeback workflows.

  • Proven ability to translate scheme requirements into clear business and technical requirements for platform change.

  • Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.

  • Familiarity with payments platform concepts and common tools for compliance tracking and project delivery.

What would be great to have:

  • Experience with FirstVision, MAS, Base24 or similar processing platforms.

  • Knowledge of EMV, tokenization, 3‑D Secure, PCI DSS, PSD2/SCA or regional regulatory frameworks.

  • Exposure to scheme investigations, forensic reviews or audit management processes.

  • Understanding of scheme fees, interchange dynamics and platform economics.

  • Ability to act as a workstream SME and mentor colleagues on scheme requirements.
