Salary range: 37,040 - 46,300

Wellcome is a global philanthropy. Our aim is to build healthier futures for everyone by funding science, leadingpolicyand advocacy campaigns, and building partnerships.

Where will I be working? 

 
You'll join Wellcome's Communications team, working closely with colleagues across News and Content, Events and Studio teams. Reporting to the Media and Planning Lead, you'll play a key role in coordinating communications activity across the organisation, helping teams work together effectively to maximise the impact of Wellcome's work and reputation.  

What will I be doing? 

 
You'll coordinate communications planning and delivery across Wellcome, managing calendars, workflows and approvals to ensure activity is well-timed and strategically aligned. You'll support media relations and digital content projects, maintain content libraries, track performance metrics, coordinate stakeholders across teams and help deliver high-quality communications that engage external audiences and support Wellcome's mission.

You'll have experience in communications, media relations, public relations or a related field, with strong relationship-building and communication skills. If you're collaborative, proactive, calm under pressure and enjoy bringing people, plans and projects together to deliver great outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.

MinimumCriteria: 

  • Strong organisational skills with experience coordinating multiple tasks and juggling competing priorities.  

  • Understanding of cross-channel communications, platforms and methodologies and ability to utilise this to influence strategic planning decisions and work collaboratively across teams, influence strategic decisions.  

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.  

  • Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple deadlines.  

  • Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills, able to influence and advise colleagues at different levels of an organisation.
