Lead the Visitor Experience & Museum Operations team to deliver safe, inclusive, high-quality visitor experiences and seamless daily operations. Oversee front-of-house, exhibitions and events delivery, emergency response and business continuity, staff development, stakeholder collaboration, and use visitor insights and data to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across the museum.

Manage a portfolio of epidemics and epidemiology research awards, coordinating partners and tracking progress across pathogen genomics and cholera projects. Lead day-to-day project delivery, assess funding applications, monitor risks and budgets, produce briefings and situation updates, and support outbreak response and cross-team knowledge sharing to ensure research impact.

Manage a portfolio of research grants across their lifecycle: due diligence, review coordination, committee support, awards, post-award queries, compliance, and stakeholder advice. Provide clear feedback, improve processes, mentor colleagues, and support inclusive, timely funding decisions for humanities and social sciences research.

Lead and deliver Wellcome's UK government relations strategy to influence health and science policy. Develop and run advocacy campaigns, provide political intelligence, build senior stakeholder relationships, coordinate cross-team engagement, represent Wellcome externally, and manage and develop a high-performing team to achieve strategic policy outcomes. Occasional travel required.

Lead and deliver projects to strengthen Open Research and Knowledge Systems; develop strategic insights from evidence and stakeholders; embed open research into funding programmes; provide specialist advice on practices, policies and digital technologies; manage funding and investment activities (landscape reviews, RfPs, partnerships); and collaborate across teams to maximise accessibility, discoverability and reuse of research outputs.

Lead Wellcome's Data, Digital and Technology function (~175 people), define and deliver enterprise-wide technology and data strategy, modernise platforms and architecture, establish data governance, analytics and BI, shape responsible AI and automation adoption, strengthen cybersecurity and tech risk, and drive enterprise transformation while building a high-performing team and trusted leadership relationships.
