Position Overview:
The Diligent Commercial Strategy & Operations team sits at the heart of the company’s growth engine, driving revenue acceleration and operational excellence across our global Sales, Customer Success, Partner, and Marketing organizations. As the architects of Diligent's Go-To-Market strategy, we collaborate with executive leadership to shape data-driven initiatives, streamline processes, and optimize our GTM tech stack. Our team leads critical functions, including Sales and CS Operations, Commissions, the GTM Tech stack and global process implementation—ensuring alignment and efficiency at every level of the commercial organization. As the EMEA/APAC Manager, Sales Strategy & Operations, you will be a key contributor to driving operational excellence and supporting revenue growth within the region. You will work closely with the International Sales leadership team and play a vital role in territory planning, sales forecasting, pipeline management, sales performance analysis, and the execution of strategic initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of SaaS sales, solid analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of sales strategies in partnership with the Head of Sales and the regional leadership team.
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of sales territories across EMEA and APAC, considering market dynamics, customer segmentation, and sales capacity. Assist with ongoing territory health analysis.
- Support the regional sales forecasting process, contributing to data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Participate in regular pipeline reviews with sales teams, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and contribute to the development of actionable insights for sales leadership.
- Support the execution of strategic sales initiatives aimed at driving revenue growth, improving sales efficiency, and expanding market share in EMEA and APAC.
- Collaborate with global Sales Operations, Finance, Marketing, Enablement and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales plans.
- Contribute to the identification and implementation of process improvements and technology solutions to enhance sales productivity.
- Provide analytical support for quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and other key business planning processes.
- Act as a liaison between the international business and the Global organization, supporting clear communication and collaboration.
Required Experience/Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Sales Strategy, GTM Operations, or a related field, preferably in a SaaS B2B environment.
- Experience in territory planning, sales forecasting, pipeline management, and sales performance analysis. (Less emphasis on "proven experience")
- Solid understanding of SaaS sales methodologies and best practices.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, including dashboards, reports, and basic workflows.
- Experience using sales technology tools such as Clari, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, Dun & Bradstreet, or similar platforms.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including solid Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, formulas).
- Experience working effectively with sales teams and cross-functional teams.
- A proactive, results-oriented mindset.
- Good communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Experience working in a global or international business context is a plus.
