In this role you will be responsible for the management and leadership of the Tenders, Contracts and Pricing function. This consists of 11 people, 2 of which are Team Leaders who will report directly into you.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct responsibility for the day-to-day management of Commercial Services Team Leader, Tenders & Contracts Specialists and Contracts & Pricing Administrators

  • Responsible for the management of the Tenders & Contracts Specialists to ensure the coordination and management of bid responses and submission of all Tenders and Request for Proposals (including framework offerings) for Stryker franchises are done in accordance with agreed SOPs

  • Responsible for the management of the Contracts & Pricing Administrators to ensure the administration of all Stryker pricing and contract queries in accordance with agreed SOPs and SLA

  • Responsible for ensuring all pricing activities are carried out in accordance with SOX regulations

  • Oversee Contract Monitoring program and oversee consistency in pricing policies across all routes to market

  • Report monthly on Commercial Services team metrics and other outputs as required

  • Provide management oversight from a Commercial Services perspective in any Integration activities

  • Support in the development of bid text and content for submissions; driving maintenance of the Tender Library and standard collateral

  • Support with the implementation and development of tender and contract tools and templates

  • Deliver continuous improvement of all tools and processes relating to tender management and processes

  • Support the Commercial Services Manager in strategic projects and deputise for them when required

  • Support with ad hoc projects as required

  • Maintain highest levels of engagement across the team and support with their development

What you need?

  • Strong commercial contracting experience

  • Pricing experience

  • Experience working with NHS frameworks and NHS Supply Chain

  • People management experience

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, PPT & Excel)

  • The ability to multi-task and juggle multiple projects simultaneously
