This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of international motorsports, connecting our global Sales teams, specialist functions, senior leadership and key clients. You’ll be responsible for turning commercial strategy into coordinated action, driving pipeline development, identifying new partnership opportunities and ensuring our teams across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the US are aligned on priorities.

Working across Formula 1, MotoGP and the wider motorsports landscape, you’ll combine strategic commercial leadership with hands-on delivery. This is a 9 month maternity cover role, ideally starting in December and based out of our Aldwych House office atleast 3 days per week.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead global Motorsports commercial strategy: Drive the delivery of our Motorsports sales strategy, aligning international teams around commercial priorities, partnership opportunities and revenue objectives. Contribute to future commercial planning and identify opportunities to strengthen our global Motorsports proposition.
  • Drive sales pipeline development and performance: Coordinate global Motorsports sales activity, overseeing prospect allocation, pipeline prioritisation and commercial progress. Partner with Research & Insights, Advisory and Sales teams to identify priority sectors, develop targeted prospect opportunities and translate market intelligence into actionable sales plans.
  • Manage strategic client relationships: Act as a senior commercial contact for Honda Racing Corporation (HRC), overseeing client reporting, prospect approvals and commercial recommendations. Work closely with internal teams to develop rights packages, partnership proposals and term sheets that align with client objectives and agreed valuations.
  • Shape our go-to-market proposition: Lead the development and ongoing improvement of Motorsports sales materials, including presentations, partnership proposals and promotional content. Collaborate with Marketing, Creative and commercial teams to ensure a compelling, consistent proposition across global markets.
  • Oversee executive engagement and commercial operations: Provide senior oversight of prospect hosting and executive attendance at Formula 1, MotoGP and other priority events. Coordinate stakeholders, budgets and logistics to deliver high-quality experiences while maintaining financial discipline, forecasting expenditure and supporting senior leadership reporting.

What We’re Looking For
  • Strong commercial expertise: An established background in sponsorship, partnerships, rights sales, business development or a related commercial discipline, with experience developing commercial strategies, managing complex pipelines and driving new business opportunities.
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of motorsports and sports partnerships: A strong understanding of the motorsports industry, and the wider rights-holder landscape is essential, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop commercially relevant partnership propositions.
  • Confident leadership and stakeholder management: Experience leading cross-functional or international teams and workstreams, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and bringing people together around shared commercial objectives.
  • Strategic thinking with a practical approach: The ability to translate commercial priorities into clear plans and measurable activity, balancing long-term opportunities with the detail required to deliver results. Comfortable developing rights packages, commercial proposals and client-facing recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and commercial judgement: Strong organisational, relationship-management and communication skills, with the confidence to navigate competing priorities, manage budgets and forecasts, and operate effectively in a fast-moving international environment.
