The Opportunity
The National Accounts Client Service Consultant is responsible for providing end-to-end administrative support and high-touch customer service to complex National Accounts group insurance clients in the United States. Partnering closely with Account Executives and internal MetLife teams, this role plays a critical part in managing client relationships and ensuring seamless day-to-day account administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day service delivery and account administration for complex National Accounts clients, partnering closely with Account Executives.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, coordinating communications, meetings, presentations, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Provide consultative support by recommending plan design, service solutions, and strategic account improvements to meet client needs.
  • Lead account audits, reporting, RFP responses, contract support, and cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Apply deep product, industry, regulatory, and systems knowledge to deliver exceptional client service and support business objectives.

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with extensive insurance industry experience supporting account management and client service functions.
  • Proven client-facing account management expertise with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid knowledge of employee benefits, proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual collaboration tools, commitment to continuous learning, and willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience supporting Disability insurance products.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance client expectations with organizational capabilities, project management skills, problem-solving, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and sound decision-making.

The expected salary range for this position is $78,500 - $93,000 . This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
