About Re:link:

Re:link is Linklaters’ flexible lawyer platform. We provide Linklaters' clients and practice groups with swift access to a community of high-quality consultants to solve their flexible resourcing needs. 

About the role:

This role oversees Re:link’s UK sales and client activity to ensure alignment with team strategy and solidify market position, while winning new work and generating profitable revenue. You will drive global client engagement strategies and relationship management to grow revenue and profit, ensuring consistent service delivery and efficient processes to maintain client satisfaction.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Works with Head of Re:link to develop and implement a comprehensive client strategy and engagement plan, aligning with functional growth goals.
  • Deepens client relationships and ensures effective and consistent client interactions across all Re:link touchpoints.
  • Works closely within the wider Matter Optimisation (MO) function to cross-sell Re:link and the full scope of MO capabilities to both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Manages the Re:link UK sales team selling Re:link flexible lawyer resources and services to clients, ensuring seamless service delivery across diverse practices.
  • Collaborates with the Head of Re:link to set ambitious sales targets, to drive strategies that achieve targets and foster profitable growth.
  • Acts as the primary escalation point for all UK sales and client-related matters, leading the resolution of strategic and complex challenges.
  • Leads the client engagement workstream for Re:link in the UK, overseeing all client facing activities including event programme design and delivery, pitch content development, thought leadership initiatives, and client relationship management. Manages and enhances key client relationships to raise Re:link's market position, drive brand awareness and generate profitable revenue.
  • Leads the development and execution of Re:link UK pricing strategies, ensuring alignment with market dynamics to drive growth and maximise profitability.
  • Leads a high-performing team, developing and implementing team goals and providing guidance to enhance team performance.
  • Supports the UK sale team by stepping in and directly managing or supporting specific sales opportunities with clients where required, including at times of high busyness or during periods of team absence.

We are ideally looking for:

  • Strong experience overseeing sales and client activity in a global professional services firm, preferably in the legal sector.
  • Experience in a comparable role in a peer flexible legal resourcing platform, high-end legal recruitment consultancy and/or other alternative legal services platform, with a sound understanding of the legal sector.
  • Track record of driving client engagement strategies and relationship management to grow revenue and profit.
  •  Experience in leading and developing high-functioning teams, enhancing client relationships and implementing strategies that foster profitable growth.
  • Proactive, driven and energetic. 
  • Natural rapport with people, confident and articulate. 
  • Brings structure, discipline and focus, with the ability to plan ahead. 
  • Commercial and numerate and a problem solver. 
  • Sets and delivers high standards in all that they do, including attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities. 
  • Hands-on, flexible, willing to “get hands dirty” to help the team with whatever it needs, team player, enthusiastic.
This position is being offered on a remote basis or based at the Linklaters London office with a hybrid working model available.
