We are now looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Data team, playing a key role in unlocking value through data-driven decision making and supporting complex, business-critical initiatives.
You’ll be joining a domain that operates at the intersection of business change and technology delivery, responsible for translating complex business needs into clear, testable, technically precise requirements.
The role plays a key part in enabling high-quality solution design, working closely with engineering, architecture, QA, and platform teams, while ensuring business outcomes, regulatory requirements, and customer impacts are fully understood and traceable.
The internal customer you support is central to driving profitable growth, while protecting both customers and the business through strong risk management and data-led decision making across areas such as pricing and affordability. They operate within a regulated environment, requiring robust and auditable decisioning.
You’ll be part of a scrum team delivering changes that are often interdependent, meaning collaboration across multiple systems and teams is essential to unlock full business value.
What you will do
Translate complex business needs into clear, structured, and testable requirements
Work closely with developers, architects, and QA to ensure solutions are feasible and well understood
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technical solutions are clearly communicated back in business terms
Support end-to-end traceability from business objectives → technical solutions → test validation
Analyse and document data flows, APIs, integrations, and service interactions
Contribute to solution design by understanding architecture diagrams and technical intent
Ensure solutions consider resilience, scale, performance, and regulatory compliance
Collaboration
You will work closely with:
Business stakeholders to translate needs into actionable requirements and play back solutions clearly
Developers & technical leads to validate feasibility and clarify delivery detail
Solution Architects to support and challenge design decisions
QA teams to ensure requirements support effective testing
What we are looking for
Strong experience in translating business requirements into technical deliverables
Ability to manage complex, competing stakeholder needs
A naturally curious and analytical mindset, focused on understanding root cause
Excellent communication skills across both technical and non-technical audiences
Proven experience documenting complex processes, integrations, and system behaviour
Comfortable working across multiple systems, data flows, and integration points
Experience working in fast-paced, agile environments
Technical & Domain Experience

APIs, integrations, and data services

Working with technical teams on solution delivery

Experience with the Guidewire ecosystem
