Role Overview

This role is central to the ongoing evolution of our Credit platforms and technology estate. The successful candidate will work closely with brokers, desk assistants, Product Managers, Product Owners, architects, engineers and senior business stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement, define solutions and support delivery of both strategic change and day-to-day business priorities.

The role combines business analysis, problem solving and stakeholder engagement. Success requires a strong understanding of business workflows, the ability to investigate operational challenges, and the confidence to work across business and technology teams to deliver practical solutions. Acting as a bridge between business users and technology teams, you will help translate complex business needs into effective technology solutions while ensuring technology teams remain closely connected to user priorities and ways of working.

As Credit Technology embarks on a multi-year transformation programme, we are looking for an individual with curiosity, energy and a desire to understand how the business operates. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable analysing business processes, investigating production issues, defining requirements and helping shape future technology capabilities.

Role Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements
  • Build and maintain a strong understanding of Credit business processes, trading workflows and operational requirements.

  • Partner with brokers, desk assistants, Product Managers, Product Owners and technology teams to understand business priorities and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Gather, analyse and document business, functional and non-functional requirements.

  • Translate business needs into clear user stories, process flows and actionable delivery outcomes.

  • Support Product Managers and Product Owners in shaping priorities, defining scope and ensuring delivery remains aligned with business objectives.

  • Support prioritisation by helping stakeholders evaluate business value, risks and dependencies.

  • Challenge assumptions and existing processes to ensure proposed solutions address underlying business needs.

Business Support & Problem Solving
  • Act as a trusted link between business users and technology teams.

  • Investigate production issues, operational challenges and user feedback to identify root causes and drive resolution.

  • Work closely with users to understand business processes, system usage and operational challenges, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, usability and business outcomes.

  • Analyse business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for simplification, automation and operational improvement.

Delivery & Change
  • Work closely with Product Owners, architects and engineering teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.

  • Ensure requirements are clearly understood and solutions remain aligned to business objectives.

  • Support testing, business readiness and release activities where required.

  • Perform functional validation and regression testing for releases where appropriate, particularly in areas where automated test coverage is still evolving.

  • Identify and manage risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies.

  • Contribute to the successful delivery of both transformational initiatives and incremental business improvements.

Transformation
  • Support the ongoing evolution of Credit platforms, workflows and operating models.

  • Analyse current-state processes and help define future-state solutions.

  • Identify opportunities for simplification, automation and improved user experience.

  • Help ensure technology solutions address genuine business needs and deliver measurable value to users.

  • Contribute to the delivery of Credit Technology's transformation roadmap.

Team Contribution
  • Build strong relationships across business and technology teams, acting as a trusted partner and helping bridge the gap between user needs and technical solutions.

  • Share knowledge and insights gained through analysis, helping improve understanding of Credit business processes, workflows and priorities.

  • Contribute to a collaborative environment where business and technology teams work together to solve problems and deliver meaningful outcomes.
