Who are we?

We’re Standard Life, a retirement specialist focused entirely on retirement savings and income. We champion the belief that everyone’s journey to and through retirement can be better, and for more than 200 years we’ve been helping our customers plan and prepare for their financial futures.

Life today is increasingly complicated, uncertain and unpredictable. People move through different careers, face unexpected moments and navigate important choices. We offer our colleagues flexibility, trust and benefits that work for whatever life brings. In return, we expect curiosity, connection, accountability and high standards. We make room for what matters, so you can bring your best every day.

The role

As Senior Brand Campaign Manager, you will own the consumer brand activation and content plan, translating agreed brand priorities into two to three major bursts of integrated activity each year. You will shape and lead each activation end-to-end, from brief and strategic development through creative and media planning, approvals, launch, optimisation and evaluation.

Bringing exceptional programme management, creative judgement and media fluency, you will lead agency partners and cross-functional teams to deliver distinctive activity on time, on budget and against agreed outcomes. You will also help shape and deliver the consumer activation pilot, applying insight and learning to strengthen future activity.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own the consumer brand activation and content plan, translating agreed priorities into two to three integrated activation programmes and a consumer activation pilot, with clear objectives, success measures and learning applied to future activity.
  • Lead each activation end-to-end, connecting audience insight, creative strategy, media and channel planning across paid, owned and earned activity to deliver distinctive work against agreed outcomes.
  • Lead agencies, cross-functional teams and stakeholders, setting clear briefs and creative standards, constructively challenging recommendations and creating alignment, pace and accountability throughout delivery.
  • Maintain strong programme and commercial discipline, managing timelines, budgets, investment, governance, dependencies, risks and approvals while using performance insight to optimise activity and inform future decisions

What are we looking for?

You do not need to meet every point below. We are looking for the following essential experience and capabilities:

  • Significant experience shaping and delivering integrated consumer brand activations from strategy and brief through to evaluation.
  • Exceptional programme management, with a track record of delivering complex, multi-workstream activity on time, on budget and to a high standard.
  • Strong creative judgement and media planning knowledge, with the confidence to challenge and improve agency recommendations.
  • Proven ability to lead agency partners and cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders in a complex matrix organisation.
  • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to use brand, audience and campaign insight to optimise activity and inform decisions.

We want to hire the whole version of you.

We are committed to ensuring that everyone feels accepted and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. If your experience looks different from what we’ve advertised and you believe that you can bring value to the role, we’d love to hear from you.

If you require any adjustments to the recruitment process, please let us know so we can help you to be at your best.

We’re reviewing applications as they come in and may close this role before the closing date, so apply early to avoid missing out.
