Lead Line 2 oversight of the Group's balance sheets, providing senior advice, independent challenge and strategic input on ALM, hedging, Matching Adjustment, solvency (Solvency UK), IFRS 17, UK GAAP, liquidity and capital management. Lead hands-on and strategic UX work across web, secure portals and native iOS/Android apps. Conduct and apply user research, create wireframes/prototypes, advocate accessibility, coach colleagues, and influence product decisions within regulatory constraints.

Lead and execute end-to-end internal audits across Customer, Operations and Outsourced Service Provider portfolios. Plan and deliver audit engagements, identify risks and root causes, provide high-level control opinions, manage stakeholder relationships, and support governance and regulatory assurance while mentoring team members.

Lead independent second-line operational risk oversight for Finance, partnering with the CFO and Finance leadership. Oversee ICFR/SOX controls, financial reporting, actuarial and treasury processes, finance transformation programmes, risk reporting, and remediation. Manage a team of risk professionals and collaborate with specialist risk functions to deliver integrated risk insight to senior leadership and boards.

Provide technical actuarial support across Bulk Purchase Annuity schemes, reviewing and developing actuarial calculations, factor assumptions and cashflow models, ensuring governance and auditability. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, monitor regulatory changes, deliver member options and manage actuarial workstreams and projects.

Lead Group FP&A performance reporting and MI, deliver timely forecasts and insights for the CFO, ExCo and Board. Improve reporting frameworks, identify performance gaps and opportunities, translate external intelligence into actionable recommendations, and manage a high-performing team.
