Analyze, structure, execute, and manage private markets investments across structured credit, asset-backed lending, real estate debt, infrastructure, and related strategies. Build cash flow and financial models, conduct credit and relative value analysis, assess risks, develop investment recommendations, support negotiations, monitor portfolio performance and covenants, and contribute to market research and strategic initiatives. The role partners with internal and external stakeholders throughout transaction approval, execution, and ongoing asset management.

Lead structured credit and mortgage investment transactions across private markets, including securitisation, equity release mortgages, asset-backed lending, and real estate debt. Responsibilities include transaction structuring, cash-flow modelling, pricing, execution, portfolio monitoring, risk assessment, stakeholder coordination, and investment strategy development. The role partners with actuarial, risk, capital, asset management, legal, and external teams while supporting regulatory alignment and mentoring junior investment professionals.

Provide assurance and insight over the Group’s risk, governance and controls for Standard Life change programmes. Execute audits, validate management actions, support risk assessment, deliver audit insight to management and the Board, and support GIA continuous improvement and ad-hoc projects while building stakeholder relationships across the three lines of defence.
