Lead and support SMCR senior manager applications and risk activities across the Group Risk function. Advise stakeholders, oversee compilation of applications to high standards under tight deadlines, influence business partners, provide independent assurance, manage multiple concurrent risk tasks, and translate technical regulatory issues into plain language. Maintain and apply technical SMCR knowledge and contribute to team development and delivery of the Group Risk Annual Plan.

Review and advise on Senior Management Function (SMF) applications and supporting documentation, provide risk advice and assurance aligned to Group Risk objectives, build relationships and influence stakeholders, manage multiple risk tasks to deadlines, and maintain/apply technical SMCR knowledge to improve governance and customer outcomes.

Second-line Supplier Risk Manager providing SME oversight and challenge of Line 1 third‑party risk controls. Lead thematic and risk-based reviews across third‑party management, IT, information security and operational resilience. Analyse risk indicators, validate findings, produce clear written reports, advise on projects and programmes, and build relationships with Line 1 and Line 3 stakeholders.
