About Convene Hospitality Group

Convene Hospitality Group designs and operates experiential event venues, bringing premium meeting and event experiences to some of the world’s leading organisations. Through a growing portfolio of brands including Convene, etc.venues and NeueHouse, we operate a network of nearly 40 venues and are the largest single provider of dedicated meeting and event spaces across the US and UK.

The UK is central to that story. From our Convene venues across the City of London to etc.venues in London and Manchester, and with our new West End destination, Convene Rathbone, our UK footprint continues to grow, and so does the pace of the events we deliver. Every conference, board meeting and live event our clients host relies on a finance team that keeps things moving behind the scenes.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Receivable (AR) Analyst, Credit Control to join our UK Finance team and help lead AR operations across our UK venue portfolio. Reporting to the AR Manager, you’ll take ownership of billing, credit control and cash allocation, turning client contracts and booking data into accurate, timely invoices, following up on outstanding balances, allocating customer receipts and keeping customer accounts clean and reconciled in our financial systems.

This is a role with real visibility. You’ll work closely with Sales, Event Operations and client procurement teams, acting as a trusted partner who keeps cash flowing while protecting the strong client relationships our business is built on. For someone who brings both rigour and a commercial mindset, it’s an opportunity to make a direct impact on the financial health of a growing UK business.

What You’ll Do

Daily Operations & Cash Management:

  • Prepare multi-bank reconciliation spreadsheets (Santander, JPM, Online Credit Cards) and resolve unapplied cash exceptions
  • Process incoming payments (ACH, credit cards, wires, cheques) and apply them accurately to customer accounts in NetSuite
  • Issue final invoices for standard customer accounts and review/process credit memos and billing adjustments with proper approvals
  • Manage customer record updates in NetSuite

Credit Control & Collections:

  • Take direct ownership of chasing overdue accounts via calls, emails, and structured collection cycles
  • Review the AR Aging report weekly to track overdue accounts, identify delinquent trends, and prioritise high-value collection efforts
  • Escalate severely overdue or high-risk accounts to Finance/Sales Management and Legal/Collections where necessary
  • Assess and assign credit limits for new and existing accounts based on payment history and financial reviews

Experience Required

  • 5+ years of dedicated Accounts Receivable or Finance experience
  • Strong proficiency in NetSuite (or comparable ERPs) and intermediate to advanced Excel
  •

Experience managing key enterprise client accounts, including submitting and tracking invoices via customer supplier portals (e.g. Coupa, SAP Ariba, Tungsten Network), purchase order-led invoicing and resolving rejected or queried invoices, is a strong advantage

  • Solid understanding of month-end AR reconciliations
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and cross-functional communication
