We are now hiring a Monetization Analyst (f/m/d)– London
The Global Monetisation team is responsible for improving long-term value creation for the company across buyers, sellers and partners. As monetization analyst you will be responsible for running key analysis and drafting recommendations on UK pricing and monetization strategy and execution plan, and also to support and implement the recommendation with cross matrix collaboration with legal, marketing, customer service and wider analytics team.
The candidate in this role will report into the Head of monetization - UK, and the team sits within the Global monetisation team.
What you will accomplish:

Lead and support end-to-end monetization projects, driving impactful outcomes by collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance pricing strategies.

Apply data-driven insights to improve the performance of pricing campaigns, directly supplying to increased customer value and driven positioning.

Model and analyze the impact of potential pricing and monetization changes, delivering recommendations that align with business objectives and market dynamics.

Derive and translate customer insights from both quantitative and qualitative data into actionable commercial strategies that grow spend at a positive value.

Standardize and automate reporting processes, ensuring accurate and consistent performance measurement for eBay Promotions, from forecasting to execution.

Partner with country teams and analytical experts to redefine seller segmentations and value propositions, directly supporting UK and FR business transformations.
What you will bring:

Proven experience in revenue management or pricing, with a solid understanding of crafting and handling promotions in a marketplace or retail/marketing environment.

Strong analytical thinking skills, with a proven ability to merge qualitative insights with strategic perspectives and quantitative analysis.

Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver in a fast-paced, multi-national cross-functional business environment, adapting to change and ambiguity with a positive, flexible approach.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present well-rounded proposals that consider both customer impact and commercial outcomes.

High attention to detail and experience coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
