JOB PURPOSE 

This role supports the B2B Beyond Core team by delivering the analysis, insight and execution that inform Liberty Global’s growth in B2B markets beyond core connectivity. Working under the guidance of the VP B2B Beyond Core, you will produce robust quantitative and qualitative analysis to help identify, size and shape new commercial opportunities — spanning market research, customer value proposition (CVP) development, business casing and go-to-market support — and help share and embed best practice across the group and its OpCos. 

Alongside this analytical core, the role carries a project and programme management dimension: it will help manage, on a day-to-day basis, Liberty Global’s strategic partnership with a global hyperscaler. The person will help run a PMO-style cadence across multiple workstreams — keeping plans and trackers current, orchestrating delivery, surfacing and escalating issues, and acting as the connective tissue between the individual stream leads. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

  • Produce robust quantitative and qualitative analyses to drive commercial insights and recommendations across B2B Beyond Core growth opportunities. 

  • Conduct primary and secondary market research to size opportunities, assess market dynamics and inform proposition development in adjacent and beyond-core B2B segments. 

  • Build structured business cases and financial models — opportunity sizing, cost-benefit and scenario modelling — to evaluate new commercial opportunities. 

  • Identify and structure transferable best practice and support structured knowledge sharing to leverage the benefits across all OpCos. 

  • Support the VP B2B Beyond Core in operating and budget reviews by providing non-recurring analytical and performance insights and ensuring follow-through on commercial and operational questions, issues and opportunities. 

  • Collaborate with teams across Liberty Global and the OpCos (finance, technology, strategy, product and the people team) to gather data and align on shared business objectives, influencing through expertise. 

  • Program Management of Liberty Global’s strategic partnership with a global hyperscaler, acting as a coordination point across the partnership’s workstreams Monitor progress across partnership streams, maintain governance artefacts (plans, trackers and status reporting), escalate risks, and orchestrate activity to keep workstreams on track. 

 

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE 

Essential Skills  

  • Project or Program Management – Project or programme governance, ownership and delivery 

  • Problem solving & structuring — applies critical and lateral thinking to break problems into actionable tasks and uncover root causes; supports strategy and approach formulation for projects. 

  • Data analysis & insight generation —  Translates data into clear, well-structured insights and visualisations (slides, Excel, BI platforms such as Power BI or Tableau or other presentation tools) and recommendations that inform decisions by senior stakeholders. 

  • Business casing — builds clear, structured models and supports opportunity sizing and scenario modelling, with foundational financial literacy (P&L, long-range plan, company reports). 

  • Market research & commercial acumen — conducts secondary research from the right sources, tracks relevant industry trends, and applies commercial judgement to sense-check insights. 

  • CVP & go-to-market (B2B) — understands customer pain points to contribute to CVP development and shows a keen interest in go-to-market fundamentals. 

  • Storytelling & communication — drafts the building blocks of a narrative and structures them into compelling presentations; presents confidently and credibly to internal teams and stakeholders. 

 

Qualifications & Abilities: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering or a related quantitative discipline. 

  •  up to ~2 years’ experience in commercial, strategy, analytics, consulting, rotational program or related roles. 

  • Experience or strong understanding of project or program management strongly preferred. 

  • Exposure to B2B commercial, transformation or new-growth initiatives in dynamic environments. 

  • Strong communications and emotional intelligence – fluent in English, ability to resolve conflict constructively. Ability to develops strong, trusted working relationships with stream leads and partners, and communicates progress, risks and actions clearly and concisely. 

  • Adaptability and organization  ability to work with changing priorities, plans and organises own workload to meet deadlines and deliver agreed objectives. 

  • Familiarity with the telecom, technology, media or related B2B / ICT industries is beneficial. 

  • Experience working in a matrixed, international organisation is a plus.
