U.S. Department of Defense/War (DOD/DOW) Europe, Middle East, and Africa, and global U.S. Funded Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and U.S. Security Assistance Programs Sales
Job Description
  • Direct sales of communications systems/solutions, video-based situational awareness and access control solutions, command center software, as well as end-user devices through to the U.S. Department of Defense/War, as well as U.S. Federal Government to Foreign Militaries, Ministries of the Interior, State Boarder Guards, and other government agency accounts in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. 

  • Identifies diverse customer needs, and understand how our product portfolio can be applied to satisfy these needs. 

  • Works closely with U.S. DoD/DoW as well as foreign Government customers to establish strong, positive relationships that will lead to short and long-term account growth and subsequent sales. 

  • Responsible for customer satisfaction, customer account strategy, customer product and system lifecycle, an understanding of our product portfolio, discount level management, receivable turn, budgets, expenses, and the sale of Motorola Solutions services and training. 

  • Through U.S. funding mechanisms, aids customers in developing return on investment strategies, product/feature use cases, as well as funding and procurement options.

  • Preference for experience with DOD and/or DOS.

  • Candidates must be willing to travel throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa, as well as the United States. 

  • Position to be located in Europe.


Basic Requirements
  • Experience selling, designing, implementing, and/or using Motorola Solutions communications systems, video-based situational awareness and access controls solutions, as well as associated end-user devices in real-world situations, and should be able to demonstrate a history of surpassing account growth/project/program goals/operational successes. 

  • Excellent communication and creative selling skills, including strong presentation and writing skills. 

  • Ability to close sales/projects/programs must be demonstrated.

  • An understanding of the proposal process, as well as a demonstrated ability to professionally and effectively assemble proposals is desired. 

  • General technical knowledge of IP networks and associated components, network security/information assurance, and RF principals is a plus.

  • Applicants must be self-motivated and independent individuals with the ability to creatively solve problems and seek out opportunities. 

  • Ability to understand/interpret customer operational issues/shortcomings with respect to personnel security, anti-terrorism, force protection, and physical security and translate into Motorola Solutions portfolio oriented requirements.

  • Creativity to envision new products, solutions, services, systems, and/or applications, and the flexibility to view issues from the customer’s perspective while keeping Motorola Solutions’ primary business objectives in mind is a necessity. 

  • Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by various government contracts.  Active Security Clearance a plus.

  • Based on global travel requirements a second language is preferential.
