YOUR MISSION

The way we manage our company is built on the belief that by giving a WOW service to our clients, we will be able to change the delivery market. How are we doing it? By paying attention to all the details. Glovo is a hyperlocal marketplace featuring the trendiest places in each city & delivering their products in less than 60 mins.

This role is for a team member in the Groceries and International Brands team which focuses on working with a valued category of partners: grocers, pharmacies, other shops, as well as with International Brands looking to advertise on the Glovo app.

As a Senior Account Manager in Romania you will have the unique opportunity to help us:

  • Manage our existing high valued partners, helping them grow their business on our platform (e.g. Linella, Farmacia Familiei, restaurants, etc).
  • Design the acquisition strategy for the remaining partners not yet on the platform and create a diverse selection of offers for both Chisinau, Balti and other relevant cities.
  • Help brands advertise their services and products on the Glovo app.
  • Generate reports, joint business plans, expansion projects for your accounts.
  • Work closely with the Financial, Marketing and Operations team to ensure a seamless experience for the end-user and for your accounts.

  • Creative thinking that's required to develop outside the box solutions.


THE JOURNEY

  • Be responsible for our partners business performance, analyze their main KPIs and ensure growth. 
  • Tracking and reporting of performance metrics.
  • Devise the groceries and International brands strategy.
  • Manage contract renegotiations to establish a strong working partnership grounded on sustainable economics for both parties.
  • Get feedback from our partners and inform the product, marketing and operations teams.
  • Own partner’s assortment → category management.
  • Be responsible for closing deals and signing new partners.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards to present to partners and use as source of operational improvements.
  • Onboard new partners on our platform by providing them all the necessary tools and information to start working.


WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • At least 3 years of experience in high-performance account management role, ideally FMCG or HoReCa, but any relevant experience is welcome.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills in a growth and high- performance company with a fast pace.
  • Ability to work both independently, to take responsibility for actions and to collaborate as part of a team goals is required.
  • Availability to travel to Moldova when required. 
  • A track record of performance and growth of the accounts you managed.
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Suite and/or MS Office, Excel.
  • Excellent written and spoken local language & English skills.
