How you’ll fit into the big picture

As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling our extensive range of IT solutions and services into corporate clients. You will build relationships and partnerships identifying ways of transforming outcomes through technology. You will also be responsible for the whole sales cycle from lead generation to prospect visits, qualification, bids and close.

What you’ll be doing
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and executive sponsors
  • Proactively promote and position boxxe’s core technology solutions, including Managed & Professional Services, Security, Cloud, Datacentre, Networking, and Modern Workplace offerings, identifying opportunities to align these solutions with customer business objectives
  • Identify upselling, cross-selling, and new business opportunities.
  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle, from opportunity identification through to proposal, negotiation, and contract award
  • Meet or exceed revenue and gross profit targets
  • Work collaboratively with sales specialists, pre-sales consultants, project teams, and service delivery teams to deliver successful customer outcomes
  • Lead customer meetings, business reviews, presentations, and solution workshops
  • Produce accurate forecasts, pipeline reports, and account plans using CRM systems
  • Respond to customer enquiries, resolve commercial issues, and act as the primary escalation point where required
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the IT market, including cloud, infrastructure, security, networking, managed services, and modern workplace solutions
  • Support tender responses, framework opportunities, and procurement exercises where applicable
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and identify opportunities to improve the customer experience
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify growth opportunities

What experience we think you’ll need

  • Currently or recently employed by a technology reseller, VAR or solutions provider
  • Experience of quota-carrying technology sales experience
  • Accountable for an individual sales target and demonstrable track record of achieving or exceeding quota
  • Experience managing and growing existing customer accounts
  • Ability to identify, qualify, develop and close sales opportunities
  • Candidates must have sold solutions across at least two of the following areas: 

Networking – Switching, Routing, Wireless  

Security – Firewalls, SASE, Endpoint Security, Cybersecurity Services – Incident response, MDR/XDR

Datacentre / Infrastructure - Servers / Storage, Virtualisation, Backup & Recovery 

Software Licensing – Azure, AWS, Microsoft EA / CSP 

Sales Methodology

Strong evidence of: 

  • Discovery-led selling (e.g. Challenger / SPIN)
  • Structured qualification process - (e.g MEDDPICC, MANT/BANT) 
  • Customer-centric opportunity development 
  • Understanding of customer business drivers, not just technical requirements
