For us, tech has never been about just hardware or software. It’s about people. It’s our meaningful relationships, deep expertise and practical know-how in technology that drive what we do. We put our customers, our partners and the environment at the heart of everything we do and our people are the difference that make the difference.

At boxxe, we understand, we collaborate, we simplify, we care and we deliver; together we are making tech human.

How you’ll fit into the big picture

You will grow a portfolio of existing and prospective Police customers, executing the Blue Light sales strategy set by the Sales Manager and aligned to boxxe’s wider go-to-market priorities. This is a visible, field-led role for a high-performing salesperson with proven UK policing expertise, strong customer relationships and the commercial drive to create and convert opportunity.

You will lead with customer outcomes rather than products. By understanding each force’s priorities, transformational programmes and procurement environment, you will connect boxxe’s solutions and services to real customer challenges, articulate measurable business value and build sustainable, profitable relationships.

What you’ll be doing

  • Execute the agreed Blue Light sales strategy through focused account, stakeholder and opportunity plans for the customers you own.
  • Build, maintain and appropriately leverage trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and influencers across police forces and the wider Blue Light community.
  • Maintain a strong presence in the market through purposeful customer meetings, sector events, roundtables and relevant forums, with disciplined follow-up.
  • Lead outcome-led discovery, connecting customer priorities to measurable benefits.
  • Articulate boxxe’s technology solutions, professional services and managed services capabilities clearly, involving specialists at the right stage.
  • Identify whitespace, create qualified pipeline and manage the end-to-end sales cycle from early engagement and opportunity shaping through bid, negotiation, close and growth.
  • Maintain clear account plans covering customer priorities, stakeholders, technology landscape, procurement routes, risks and action plan.
  • Share relevant customer, market and procurement intelligence with the Sales Manager and wider team to improve qualification and support the Blue Light strategy.
  • Use agreed vendor activity, sponsorships and sector platforms to create customer engagement, progress opportunities and generate measurable pipeline.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing, vendors, presales, services, bids & tenders and delivery teams to provide a joined-up customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate CRM, pipeline and forecast data, with clear next steps, risks and action plans, and deliver against agreed revenue and gross profit targets.
  • Represent boxxe with credibility and integrity, operating in line with public-sector procurement, security and ethical standards.

 Experience

  • A strong record of meeting or exceeding sales targets by using established relationships to secure customer access and convert into meetings, opportunities, qualified pipeline, revenue and gross profit.
  • Experience of winning new Police customers or opening new departments and stakeholder groups within existing forces.
  • Demonstrable success selling technology solutions and services into UK policing, with the sector knowledge and credibility to add value from the outset. Utilising themes relevant to modern policing, supported by strong curiosity and continuous learning.
  • Evidence of relevant, trusted relationships across multiple police forces and stakeholder groups, with examples of how these relationships created access, insight and opportunity.
  • Experience using outcome-led discovery and articulating business value to senior operational, digital, technology, commercial and procurement stakeholders.
  • Experience navigating complex public-sector sales cycles, frameworks, competitive tenders, governance and budget constraints.
  • A track record of working effectively with technology vendors and internal specialists to shape and close complex opportunities.
  • Experience using sector events, roundtables and forums to build relationships, create customer engagement and generate pipeline.
