They collaborate and integrate effectively with colleagues across different practices and teams, both in the UK and wider global markets, while contributing to strategic planning and the delivery of integrated communications programmes across earned, owned, paid and social channels.

Role Summary & Key Responsibilities:

Client Leadership

  • Act as a key day-to-day point of contact for clients, owning and leading specific projects and ongoing workstreams, as well as supporting broader day-to-day account activity.

  • Build strong client relationships through reliability, responsiveness and consistently high-quality delivery, with the confidence to manage ongoing workstreams with more junior clients.

  • Lead client interactions where appropriate, articulating a point of view with confidence and gravitas and proactively anticipating client needs, upcoming moments, issues and opportunities.

  • Strategic Planning & Program Management

  • Play a key role in the research, planning, brainstorming, development and execution of campaigns and communications programmes.

  • Act as a driver of relevant workstreams, keeping deliverables moving forward, managing multiple priorities and supporting the day-to-day efficiency of the account.

  • Coordinate effectively with internal teams and collaborate and integrate with different practices and teams on cross-business work, as well as working closely with global markets when required.

  • Apply a solid and practical understanding of earned, owned, paid and social media, and how to incorporate these channels into integrated communications programmes.

  • Take initiative on relevant workstreams, proactively put forward ideas, anticipate upcoming moments and ensure account activity continues at pace.

Content & Storytelling

  • Produce and edit high-quality client-facing content, including press releases, social media content, executive briefing materials, visual assets, editorial content such as social posts, infographics and video scripts, and client reports.

  • Produce strong first drafts of client-facing content quickly and efficiently, with minimal edits from account leads.

  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail across content development and review, reporting and client deliverables.

  • Bring a creative mindset to client work, assessing briefs and putting forward well thought-through suggestions on the most relevant storytelling formats.

  • Translate research, insights and client priorities into clear, compelling content and storytelling that supports communications objectives.

Media & Stakeholder Relations

  • Create compelling corporate and consumer media angles and support proactive media engagement and outreach.

  • Undertake regular media monitoring and support issues and crisis activity, identifying relevant developments and helping teams respond appropriately.

  • Maintain a strong interest in current affairs, news and international business, consuming media in all forms and applying this knowledge to client work.

  • Identify relevant media and social trends, insights and opportunities that can inform client programmes and campaign activity.

  • Build and maintain relationships with relevant media and stakeholder networks, developing a strong understanding of the audiences that matter to clients.

  • Leadership & Team Development

  • Work effectively as part of large, busy, fast-paced and highly motivated teams, bringing a positive, can-do attitude to all team interactions.

  • Support junior team members on day-to-day account activity, providing guidance and helping to maintain quality and efficiency across deliverables.

  • Demonstrate strong project management and ownership, coordinating with colleagues and ensuring teams are clear on priorities, deliverables and next steps.

  • Collaborate constructively with colleagues across practices, disciplines and markets, contributing to an integrated and inclusive team environment.
