About the role

As a Google Cloud Account Executive within the UK team, your primary role is to work with prospects and customers driving the adoption and usage of Google Cloud products and services. You will work with customers ranging from £300m to £1b in revenue and on projects covering (not exclusive to) Infrastructure Modernisation & Migration, Data Modernisation, AI & ML, Security & Workspace, with a large focus on selling professional service to enable POC, Production Build and ongoing Adoption & Optimization. 

You will work hand-in-hand with our strategic partner, Google Cloud and the associated teams, identifying target customers and working with them to deliver best in class solutions and growth. The role is a mix of New Business & Account Growth, working closely with a team of Pre-sales & Support Services teams.

What we are looking for

  • You can demonstrate experience in selling cloud solutions & associated professional services

  • You have experience managing Corporate and Digital Native Accounts

  • You're able to build executive relationships with customers, influence their long-term strategic direction & act as a trusted advisor 

  • You can build and execute account plans, resulting in a robust pipeline

  • Coming up with and executing demand generation activities in close collaboration with the marketing team sounds exciting

  • You're able to qualify and assist customers in identifying use cases suitable for Google Cloud Platform & other Google technologies' deployment, and articulate key differentiators

  • You can manage multiple opportunities through the entire sales cycle simultaneously, working with cross-functional teams as necessary

  • You work with your counterparts at Google as if they are your own colleagues

  • You look forward to serve as the primary customer contact for all commercial activities

  • You believe self-development is key to success

  • You speak English as main language

  • You are entitled to work (and live) in the United Kingdom. We don’t sponsor visas.

  • The possession of GCP sales certificates, a Google Cloud Digital Leader certificate, or the promise to obtain those on short notice
