  • Act as a technical interface for customers, partners, and subcontractors, providing expertise on SCADA, networking, and compliance requirements throughout the service phase.
  • Monitor system performance, investigate network and communication issues, and utilize diagnostic tools to identify, resolve, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Conduct and support root cause analyses to improve system reliability, availability, and long-term performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, tools, documentation, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure accurate change management practices and maintain comprehensive technical records.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry standards, and cybersecurity best practices to help Fluence maintain world-class operational support capabilities.
  • Provide technical reporting, operational insights, and performance recommendations to internal stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Support the development and tracking of key operational performance metrics.
  • Contribute to company safety initiatives and support a strong safety culture.
  • Travel across the EMEA region as required to support customers and operational activities.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Automation Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in SCADA, Operational Technology (OT), industrial networking, power generation, utilities, or a related industry.
  • Hands-on experience with industrial communication protocols such as IEC 60870-5-101/104, IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus, TCP/IP, OPC, and related technologies.

  • Familiarity with Linux-based systems, scripting languages such as Python or Bash, and version control tools such as GitHub.
  • Understanding of industrial control equipment, including inverters, transformers, controllers, telecommunications equipment, and I/O systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex system and network issues.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively and operate within a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
  • Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is considered an advantage.
