The Role: Salesforce Product Owner (Grade 11)

The Team: The Customer Experience Product team works closely with Client Services, Sales, Operations, and users across the organization. The team acts as a bridge between internal users and Technology to ensure that requirements are captured, prioritized, executed and delivered to a high quality.  
 
The Impact: The Salesforce Product Owner is an integral part of the team who is responsible for driving operational efficiency for all business stakeholders. This position will be working within the agile framework to prioritize, plan and oversee the delivery of features on their scrum team, in order to enhance the value of the SFDC platform and integrated systems. The Product Owner will represent stakeholders to define features and prioritize the product backlog, to obtain maximum value to the benefit of the end user. 
 
What’s in it for you? The position plays a key role on the CX Product team and for the organization. It offers exposure to multiple S&P Divisions through collaboration with Technology and colleagues in similar roles within the company 

 

Responsibilities 
 
Assisting in defining, developing, and implementing the Salesforce strategic roadmap and the releases of features for Salesforce and integrated systems 

  • Identify customer needs, take detailed business requirements from global SFDC CI stakeholders and provide guidance on business processes to the team 

  • Write user stories, own and prioritize the backlog and translate business needs into technical requirements for the scrum team 

  • Assist in managing the scrum team and sprint planning/execution, working closely with the scrum master 

  • Communicate with stakeholders regarding the product roadmap, timelines and status of requests 

  • Working closely with Salesforce Field Support to communicate enhancements and defect fixes with end users 

  • Articulate and track value delivered to business stakeholders – lean thinking 
     

What We’re Looking For 
 

  • Minimum 4 years experience working with Salesforce as a product owner/super user and familiar with agile methodology 

  • Excellent communication, presentation and time management skills 

  • Strong problem solving skills with an innate curiosity and desire to question the status quo 

  • Ability to translate business asks into technical requirements
