The Sales Unit Leader plans and directs sales activities of the team, establishes objectives, negotiates contracts, analyzes market conditions, and supports the annual budgeting process to increase sales of Samsung Electronics products.
Position Summary
We are looking for a new Sales Unit Leader to join our Consumer Electronics team!Role and Responsibilities
- Plans and directs the work of the sales team and is responsible for establishing overall objectives and priorities for the direction of the team in order to increase sales of Samsung Electronics products and to achieve the agreed targets within the key accounts
- Define, monitor and give improvement advice about targets for each member of the sales team
- Participation in negotiating annual contracts per account with the aim to optimise long-term value creation
- Analysing account profiles and potentials by doing strategic planning and to adapt conditions of sales accordingly
- Planning sales and promotion activities together with the sales team including product and price planning
- Overview of all advertising and promotion activities within the accounts/region
- Providing feedback to the organization regarding market conditions and competitor activities so as to facilitate quick and appropriate response to changing sales conditions
- Actively participate in the annual budgeting process
- Representation of the company outside (mainly trade) according to Samsung Electronics standard and guidelines
- Supporting direct supervisor upon whose request performs all other tasks
Skills and Qualifications
Qualification/Experience
- University degree
- At least 7 years of job experience in the area of sales/account management
- Experience in managing and leading teams
- Driver's licence B category
Knowledge
- Upper-intermediate command of English
- Advanced user of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good knowledge of the market and a good business sense
- Good product knowledge is advantage
- Basic knowledge in Marketing
