In this role you will have the opportunity to optimise Electrification Business Line project sales within territory and grow market share through project sales into Target National and Regional M&E contractors via strategic wholesaler, panel builders and directly with ABB.

Your Role and Responsibilities  

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact. 
 
- Work model: #remote 

 

·        Deliver agreed sales targets and operate within defined budgets across the London & Northern Home Counties.

·        Develop and execute growth strategies by targeting key accounts, M&E contractors, and strategic wholesalers.

·        Identify, pursue, and close projects involving ABB Electrification solutions, from MV/LV switchgear through to sub-distribution and associated systems.

·        Proactively manage and convert sales leads, ensuring a high-quality customer engagement approach.

·        Maintain accurate and timely CRM (SFDC) updates, forecasting, and sales reporting in line with business requirements.

·        Demonstrate strong product expertise, delivering effective sales and technical product demonstrations.

·        Build and strengthen long-term customer relationships, including appropriate corporate hospitality and event participation when required.

·        Collaborate cross-functionally within ABB to drive cross-selling and up-selling opportunities, while upholding ABB’s values, integrity standards, and professional brand representation.

 

Qualifications for the Role  

 

·        Electrical or engineering qualification to BTEC ONC/HNC level (or equivalent).

·        Proven experience in project-based sales within the M&E contracting market.

·        Strong understanding of product application within electrical and M&E environments.

·        Highly customer-focused, with a commitment to delivering excellent service and solutions.

·        A collaborative team player who works effectively across functions.

·        Results-driven, with a strong desire to exceed targets and performance goals.

·        Resilient and tenacious, able to manage challenges and maintain momentum in a competitive environment.

·        IT literate, with confidence using CRM systems
