Job Description:

Job Summary

The Sales Planning and Performance Specialist is responsible for providing systems and administrative support to the Sales Planning and Performance team. This position extracts and manipulates data to assist in the planning process.

He / She provides automated and manual support for incentive payment calculations. This position serves as a focal point for customized queries and tool support.

Broad Responsibilities:

Conducts Sales Performance Analyses and Reporting

  • Extracts key sales data to measure sales performance
  • Provides support to management in sales plan performance analyses and development
  • Ensures sales databases contain key data (e.g., alignment, sales goals, etc.) to allow accurate and timely sales incentive calculations
  • Creates databases and queries to manipulate data and enhance reporting tool capability

Supports Sales Planning Processes

  • Provides tool support to assist countries in completing sales plan processes
  • Performs data analyses (e.g., account segmentation, equity analysis, sales territory splits, etc.) to support the sales planning process
  • Compares existing performance data against projected plans to analyze sales strategy effectiveness
  • Monitors the sales process status to support and expedite planning processes

Coordinates Payment Calculations

  • Generates sales compensation reports to provide summaries for management review and analysis
  • Performs manual adjustments on sales incentive calculations to ensure accuracy of final incentive payments
  • Provides general administrative support to respond to incentive payment inquiries
  • Creates clear and distinct data formats to clarify trends and highlight performance measurements

Provides General User Support

  • Schedules automated report generation to ensure timely data execution and delivery
  • Researches and corrects data inconsistencies to ensure data accuracy
  • Solicits stakeholder feedback to discuss data findings and validate accuracy
  • Serves as a focal point to resolve technical inquiries and provide customized data queries
  • Develops technical user guides to provide accessibility and user instructions

From our future partner we expect

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work effectively with large and complex datasets.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in data analysis and reporting, and the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce Reporting, or similar platforms) is considered an advantage.
  • Experience in Sales Planning, Sales Operations, Sales Compensation, Performance Management, Business Analytics or a related field would be an advantage.
