About the position

Based within the EMEA Go-To-Market Operations team, the Sales Operations Specialist will be the primary support person for our Central and North European sales teams. Working with Sales Directors and Account Managers, this is a highly influential role with responsibilities ranging from annual strategic planning to driving regular operating cadence across Business Performance, Forecast, Pipeline and KPI reviews. This role reports directly to the Senior Director of EMEA Sales Operations, based in London. The successful candidate can be based in our London, Munich or Hilversum office.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide wide-ranging operational support to the Sales Leaders – assisting them with the execution of business strategies and measurement of success
  • Help Sales Reps and Sales Management to ensure accurate and timely forecast submissions
  • Enforce proper pipeline management, acting as a subject matter expert and ensuring adherence to global best practice guidelines
  • Active involvement in the annual planning process, including territory planning and quota setting
  • Track and report on sales, pipeline generation and customer retention performance compared to targets, summarizing findings in insightful reports with recommendations that support decision-making
  • Proactively identify performance gaps and drive remediation through data-driven insights
  • Collaborate with the Business Intelligence, Finance and Global Sales Operations teams to provide ad-hoc analysis, investigate problems and/or validate business decisions
  • Partner with Sales Managers, Reps, Engineers and Enablement to uncover areas of revenue opportunity in our customer and prospect base
  • Work with a variety of teams outside Sales (including Marketing, Channel and Customer Success) to accurately assess lead flows, customer risk and areas of potential pipeline generation
  • Assist Sales Reps with complex quoting and ensuring that all sales orders are accurate
  • Assist Sales Reps and Sales Management to ensure timely forecast submissions and validate the accuracy of submission
  • Actively support in the testing, development and regional roll-out of Sales-related systems
  • Maintain Total Addressable Market (TAM) accuracy and account hierarchies within our CRM system
  • Collaborate with Finance and Commissions Analysts on compensation planning, commissions, and sales incentives.

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous experience in a Sales Operations (or similar Operational) function
  • Annual planning experience, ideally including target setting, territory planning and incentive plans
  • Great communicator: able to confidently interact with colleagues of all seniority levels
  • Able to document and present findings in a clear, concise and engaging manner
  • Strong MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs)
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Able to manage multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment
  • Based in London, Munich or Hilversum

Desirable skills:

  • Fluent in / working knowledge of German language (desirable but not essential)
  • Practical experience in using CRM and Business Intelligence systems (particularly SFDC and Tableau)
  • Confident, self-driven individual who enjoys challenges and problem solving
  • Efficient, takes pride in accuracy and is comfortable multitasking across a range of time-sensitive activities in a fast-paced environment
  • Grounded, eager to learn, humble, and driven by a desire to make a positive impact.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
