Job Profile

We are seeking a Buyside Sales Account Manager to manage and grow relationships with a defined portfolio of buyside clients. The role involves working closely within the Sales Management team and with internal stakeholders to deliver the full MTS value proposition across BondVision platforms, including Rates, Credit, and Repo.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and process-driven, with strong ownership and follow-through. They will be a confident communicator, capable of managing multiple priorities, coordinating across teams, and maintaining high-quality client engagement. A strong interest in fixed income markets and electronic trading is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and Maintain Client Relationships
    • Act as primary point of contact for allocated buyside clients.
    • Develop and deepen long-term relationships with key stakeholders across client organisations.
    • Maintain regular, structured engagement to understand client needs and drive platform usage.
  • Client Pitches
    • Deliver targeted sales pitches and support adoption of MTS initiatives in coordination with the dealer partnership.
    • Identify new business opportunities, prepare proposals and pitch to prospective clients.
  • Account Management & Reporting
    • Monitor account performance against sales objectives and KPIs.
    • Analyse client activity and flow data to identify growth opportunities, improve retention and enhance client satisfaction.
    • Prepare and present account reviews and business updates to sales management.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date account plans in line with the MTS sales methodology.
  • Collaboration
    • Work closely with buyside and sell-side sales, product, technology, client services, sales operations and data teams to ensure seamless delivery.
    • Proactively escalate and manage client issues, coordinating internal stakeholders to drive resolution.
  • Communication & Service
    • Respond promptly to client queries, briefs and requests.
    • Provide ongoing product support, market updates and service information to clients.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

  • Strong sales, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship management capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
  • Experience using CRM tools and maintaining structured account plans.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Solid understanding of fixed income markets and trading workflows, knowledge of interest rate swaps is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with electronic trading platforms, execution protocols and market connectivity.
  • Experience analysing execution flow data and translating trends into actionable sales strategies.
  • 2-5 years’ experience in sales, account management, product, or client facing roles within financial markets.
  • Additional European language skills are a plus.
