Sales Manager - Enterprise Restaurants - UKI

About the role and team

Leading at Uber means setting direction in motion, not waiting for perfect conditions. As the Sales Manager for Enterprise Restaurant Advertising vertical, you will build high-performing teams in ambiguous environments, make hard calls under pressure, and carry the weight of decisions that matter. This role is about navigating the messy reality of a hyper-growth advertising business where you’ll turn complexity into clarity while building long-term partnerships in a fast-changing environment.

You will lead a team of sales and account management professionals tasked with exceeding ambitious revenue goals across our Mobility and Delivery platforms. This is not a role for those seeking a polished script; success here requires grit, resourcefulness, and the ability to lead through influence rather than control. If you lead with clarity, build with heart, and thrive when the stakes are high, this is where you will make your mark.

Your team will collaborate closely with Uber Eats Commercial Teams to identify, develop, pitch, and implement ads & offers solutions that meet merchant objectives, and drive the adoption of an expanding suite of ad offerings across our Mobility and Delivery platforms.

You’ll be responsible for both the growth of your team’s book of business and the growth and development of your team. Successful candidates will understand Uber marketplace dynamics and be able to navigate and nurture complex internal and external partnerships to deliver meaningful results, while consistently holding themselves and their team accountable to Uber’s core values.

 What you’ll do

  • In partnership with Uber Eats Commercial Team, develop and implement the strategy that enables sellers to exceed revenue targets and drive quota attainment across the full Uber Demand Generation product suite.
  • Use data and insights from merchants, Uber, and 3P sources to build the strategy and identify areas of opportunity
  • Train, coach, and develop a high-performing sales and account management organization, making the hard calls to manage performance and set a high bar for excellence.
  • Navigate ambiguity and internal complexity to design and execute a sales strategy that enables your team to exceed revenue targets across the full Uber product suite.
  • Build and grow senior-level, long-term partnerships with major brands and media agencies by understanding their deepest needs rather than just selling a product.
  • Manage pipelines and revenue forecasting with urgency and discipline, maintaining a rigorous handle on team performance metrics even when priorities shift.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Operations to resolve blockers and inform the local market ad inventory needed for long-term growth.
  • Communicate clearly and negotiate confidently through tough conversations, acting as the internal and external spokesperson for the Uber Ads business.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience ideally within a marketplace or mobile app platform.
  • 5+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing digital sales teams.
  • Proven proficiency in managing multi-million-dollar advertising businesses and diverse sales cycles.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep expertise in the digital media ecosystem, including programmatic, display, video, and mobile advertising.
  • Strong commercial coaching skills with a track record of boosting team performance in high-pressure environments.
  • Ability to thrive in high-ambiguity settings by using data to influence decisions and align conflicting stakeholder interests.
  • Extensive network of senior decision-makers across major media holding groups and independent agencies.
