You’ll manage and nurture a high quality sales pipeline, with the opportunity to earn uncapped commission based on revenue generated. Our Sales Executives are focused on businesses who have either applied, or used our products or services in the past, but aren’t currently.

Your mission

  • Build and nurture a pipeline of high quality leads from qualified pools of business customers

  • Employ expert sales skills to understand customer needs and tailor your pitch to iwoca’s market-leading product offering

  • Utilise our market leading tech and systems to effectively manage your own portfolio of leads, following your own contact strategy

  • Go above and beyond to hit your KPIs, maximise commission and exceed growth targets

  • Liaise with different teams within iwoca, such as Account Management, Marketing and Underwriting to achieve the best outcome for your customers

  • Be a team player, helping to improve this exciting part of the business

Requirements

We look for people who are smart, humble, motivated and who are always looking to improve.

Ideally you'll have:

  • Have past experience in sales, ideally within financial services

  • Be comfortable making outbound calls, and have an excellent call manner

  • Be highly motivated, and excited to exceed targets

  • Be able to take on, and provide, quality feedback to power your own growth, as well as that of your teammates

  • Be organised and able to manage a large pipeline of prospects, with deals at various stages of progress

  • Be able to simplify and explain complex products in a way that customers with little experience in commercial financing can easily understand

Desired (but not essential):

  • Understand the challenges facing small businesses

  • A good understanding of different financial products used by small businesses

The salary

The expected OTE for this role ranges from £55,000 - £70,000. We’re open-minded, so definitely include your salary goals with your application. We routinely benchmark salaries against market rates, and run quarterly performance and salary reviews.

The culture

At iwoca, we prioritise a culture of learning, growth, and support, and invest in the development of our team members. We value thought and skill diversity, and encourage people to explore new areas of interest, adopt better tools – including AI – and apply sound judgement so our products and decisions improve over time.

The offices

We put a lot of effort into making iwoca a great place to work:

  • Offices in London, Leeds, Berlin, and Frankfurt with plenty of drinks and snacks.

  • Events and community-led groups, including running groups, padel, and monthly ping-pong and pool competitions.

The benefits

  • Flexible working hours.

  • Medical insurance from Vitality, including discounted gym membership.

  • A choice between a dedicated dental plan or a health cash plan that reimburses everyday medical expenses.

  • A private GP service (separate from Vitality) for you, your partner, and your dependents.

  • 25 days’ holiday per year, an extra day off for your birthday, the option to buy or sell an additional five days of annual leave, and unlimited unpaid leave.

  • A one-month, fully paid sabbatical after four years.

  • Instant access to external counselling and therapy sessions for team members that need emotional or mental health support.

  • 3% Pension contributions on total earnings.

  • An employee equity incentive scheme.

  • Generous parental leave and a nursery tax benefit scheme to help you save money.

  • Electric car scheme and cycle to work scheme.

  • Two company retreats a year: we’ve been to France, Italy, Spain, and further afield.

And to make sure we all keep learning, we offer:

  • A learning and development budget for everyone.

  • Company-wide talks with internal and external speakers.

  • Access to learning platforms like Treehouse.
