Role Summary

The Sales Executive drives revenue growth by owning the full early-stage sales lifecycle for SMB accounts within the IT sector. This Mid-Level, Part-Time role is designed for a high-autonomy closer who can balance proactive prospecting with consultative discovery to convert leads into long-term partners. Success is measured by consistent quota attainment, pipeline health, and the ability to articulate complex technical value propositions.

Work Setup & Collaboration
  • Hybrid Model: Based in London with a requirement of 2–3 days per week in-office to foster team collaboration.
  • Part-Time Schedule: Requires disciplined time management to maintain high activity levels within a reduced weekly hour count.
  • High Autonomy: Expected to manage an independent desk and pipeline with minimal daily oversight.
  • Cross-Functional Feedback: Collaborates closely with Product and Marketing teams to relay real-time market insights and buyer friction points.

What You'll Do
  • Own the Full Cycle: Manage deals from initial outbound touchpoints through discovery, demo, and final contract signature.
  • Prospecting: Build and maintain a self-generated pipeline using a mix of outbound cold outreach and inbound lead qualification.
  • Discovery & Demos: Lead high-impact discovery calls and product demonstrations tailored to SMB buyer pain points.
  • Pipeline Management: Move prospects through a structured sales process, ensuring high velocity and accurate forecasting.
  • Revenue Generation: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets and activity KPIs.
  • Market Intelligence: Act as the eyes and ears of the company, providing actionable feedback to internal teams to improve product positioning.
  • Documentation: Maintain 100% CRM hygiene to ensure data-driven decision-making and seamless handoffs.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner with marketing to optimize lead-gen campaigns based on successful closing patterns.

Success Indicators
  • Quota Attainment: Achieve 100% of assigned monthly revenue targets.
  • Pipeline Coverage: Maintain a 3x–4x pipeline-to-quota ratio at all times.
  • Conversion Efficiency: Maintain a high discovery-to-qualified-opportunity conversion rate.
  • CRM Accuracy: Ensure all deal stages, close dates, and contact details are updated within 24 hours of change.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience: 2–4 years of experience in B2B or SaaS sales, specifically in a closing role.
  • Closing Skills: Proven track record of managing a structured sales process and hitting revenue-based targets.
  • Resilience: High comfort level with outbound activity and the ability to handle rejection professionally.
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to quickly learn and articulate IT solutions and software value propositions.
  • Location: Must be London-based and able to commit to the 2–3 day hybrid office rotation.
  • Communication: Clear, persuasive written and verbal communication skills for consultative selling.

Nice to Have
  • Previous experience selling IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, or cloud-based services.
  • Familiarity with sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft) and modern CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Experience selling specifically to SMB-sized organizations (50–250 employees).
  • Training in formal sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger).

About the Team/Environment

We operate in a high-velocity IT environment that rewards ownership and iterative improvement. Our sales culture is built on transparency and performance, supported by a structured commission model with uncapped accelerators for top performers. You will join a growing team that values quality over volume and prioritizes a professional, consultative approach to B2B sales.
