The Sales Director is responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy to drive revenue growth, market share, and customer retention for [business unit / region]. What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth goals
  • Lead a team of 4-6 sales professionals, including setting performance goals, providing coaching and development opportunities, and conducting performance evaluations
  • Coach Account Managers through deal strategy, account growth and developing a customer roadmap
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the supply chain software market and customer needs, and use this knowledge to drive sales success
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key customers, industry partners, and influencers
  • Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to drive sales success
  • Report on sales performance, including regular forecasting and pipeline management
  • Continuously evaluate and refine sales processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness

 

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales strategies and driving revenue growth
  • Experience leading and mentoring sales teams
  • Strong understanding of the supply chain software market and customer needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Results-driven and customer-focused, with a passion for driving sales success
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Knowledge of cloud hyper-scaler environments and Azure
  • SaaS and ARR sales motions
