Landytech is on a mission to transform the way financial institutions, investment managers, asset owners and their advisers access, manage and use investment data.

Powered by our investment technology platform, we help organisations bring together complex investment information, improve data accuracy and control, reduce manual processes and make better-informed decisions.

We work with clients across multiple markets and jurisdictions and are continuing to expand our presence with sophisticated financial institutions globally.

Team & Role

As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for winning new enterprise clients for Landytech's investment technology solutions.

The role will have a particular focus on complex financial institutions and service providers, including trust companies, private banks, fund administrators, large asset managers and other organisations managing significant volumes of investment data.

You will own the full enterprise sales cycle, from identifying and developing opportunities through discovery, solution evaluation, commercial negotiation and close.

Our solutions address complex operational and investment data challenges, including fragmented data across multiple custodians and systems, manual processing, reconciliation, reporting, data governance and the need for scalable technology infrastructure.

As a result, opportunities will often involve multiple stakeholders across Investment, Operations, Technology, Data, Risk, Compliance and senior management. You will need to understand the priorities of each stakeholder and build a compelling business case across the organisation.

This is a new-business role suited to someone comfortable navigating complex enterprise sales cycles and developing opportunities proactively. You will work closely with colleagues across Product, Solutions, Professional Services and Client Success throughout the sales process.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Own and deliver against an annual new-business revenue target.
  • Proactively identify, develop and qualify new enterprise sales opportunities within target financial institutions.
  • Build relationships with senior stakeholders across Investment, Operations, Technology, Data, Risk, Compliance and executive leadership.
  • Lead consultative discovery to understand a prospect's current technology environment, workflows, operational challenges and strategic priorities.
  • Translate complex client requirements into a clear value proposition and demonstrate how Landytech's technology can improve data quality, operational efficiency, governance and scalability.
  • Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise buying processes and develop strong internal champions.
  • Build compelling commercial and business cases that demonstrate measurable operational and strategic value.
  • Coordinate internal specialists across Product, Solutions and Professional Services during technical evaluations, demonstrations and solution validation.
  • Manage enterprise evaluations and procurement processes, including RFPs, technical reviews, information security, legal and commercial negotiations.
  • Develop and negotiate software and services proposals and progress opportunities through to successful close.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity management, forecasting and CRM data.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the financial technology landscape, relevant market trends and the challenges faced by our target clients.

Your Skills & Experience

We are looking for an experienced enterprise salesperson with a strong understanding of financial services and a track record of winning complex new business.

Ideally, you will have:

  • 7+ years' experience in B2B enterprise technology, SaaS or financial technology sales.
  • A demonstrable track record of achieving or exceeding new-business sales targets.
  • Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and extended evaluation, procurement and contracting processes.
  • Experience selling solutions with typical contract values of £100k+ ARR.
  • Strong knowledge of financial services and experience selling into financial institutions or sophisticated investment organisations.
  • Relevant experience selling into organisations such as trust companies, private banks, fund administrators, wealth managers, asset managers or other financial services providers would be highly advantageous.
  • Experience selling investment technology, financial data, data management, portfolio technology, accounting technology, financial infrastructure or other complex enterprise software would be particularly relevant.
  • An understanding of investment data workflows, including data aggregation, reconciliation, reporting, operational processes or integrations with core financial systems, would be advantageous.
  • Experience engaging senior stakeholders across Operations, Technology, Data, Investment and executive functions.
  • Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to uncover operational and commercial pain points and translate them into a compelling business case.
  • Confidence navigating technical discussions while working effectively with Product and Solutions specialists.
  • Strong negotiation and commercial skills, with experience managing procurement and contracting processes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive and self-sufficient approach to pipeline generation and territory development.
  • Strong CRM discipline and experience maintaining accurate opportunity and forecast information.
  • Fluent/native English. Additional European languages would be advantageous.

What Success Looks Like

You will be successful in this role if you can combine strong enterprise sales execution with the ability to understand complex financial and operational workflows.

You will be expected to build senior relationships within target accounts, develop and qualify high-value opportunities, effectively navigate multiple stakeholders and consistently progress complex sales processes towards successful outcomes.

The strongest candidates will be comfortable selling business transformation and operational value rather than simply software features, and will be capable of developing opportunities where the value proposition spans Technology, Data, Operations, Risk and Investment functions.

Our Benefits

  • An opportunity to join a fast-growing fintech transforming investment data and reporting.
  • Hybrid working.
  • Competitive base salary, commission and stock options package.
  • Private medical insurance with Bupa for you and your family members.
  • Death in service insurance.
  • Pension plan.
  • Cycle to Work Scheme and gym allowance.
  • Office food and drinks and regular company socials.

If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
