Job Summary

We are looking for a high-energy, results-driven Sales Development Representative to join a thriving direct-placement staffing firm. In this role, you will be the engine of our growth, identifying potential clients and securing appointments for our leadership team. This is a foundational role within a four-year-old company that has a defined sales process but welcomes your expertise to help polish and optimize our outreach. If you are a resilient hunter with a deep understanding of the staffing industry, this is your opportunity to build a long-term career with a clear path to BDR and Account Management roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct high-volume outbound activity, maintaining a daily target of 80-100 cold calls.
  • Manage the full top-of-funnel lifecycle, including prospecting, lead generation, and executing email sequences.
  • Consistently secure 5-7 qualified discovery appointments per week.
  • Navigate gatekeepers and overcome objections through creative and resilient communication.
  • Maintain meticulous records of lead interactions, follow-ups, and notes within HubSpot.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to refine scripts and improve conversion rates.

Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as an SDR/BDR specifically within the staffing industry
  • Proven track record of success in direct placement recruiting sales (not 3rd party).
  • Demonstrated ability to hit and exceed KPIs and appointment-setting targets.
  • Technical proficiency in HubSpot CRM.
  • Mastery of prospecting tools including LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Apollo (or similar platforms).
  • Native-level English fluency with an engaging, talkative, and persuasive phone presence.
  • A "can-do" attitude with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Ability to work within the Eastern Time Zone.

Nice-to-Haves

  • A high level of emotional resilience and an "unfazed" attitude toward rejection.
  • Experience transitioning from a lead generation role into full-cycle sales.
