We are looking for experienced Sales Development Representatives based in South Africa to support outbound business development within the financial services sector.

This role requires more than general cold outreach. You will research and identify relevant companies, family offices, financial institutions, and decision-makers, particularly within the UAE and DIFC ecosystem.

The ideal candidate has previous experience working with or selling to financial services companies, understands the structure of family offices and different types of financial institutions, and can confidently engage senior decision-makers through phone, email, and LinkedIn.

Clear, neutral, and professional spoken English is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed account research to identify relevant companies, financial institutions, family offices, and decision-makers.
  • Research DIFC-registered companies and understand their business activities, structure, and relevance to the target market.
  • Build and maintain accurate prospect and account lists.
  • Identify key stakeholders, including founders, managing directors, investment professionals, finance leaders, and other senior decision-makers.
  • Execute outbound prospecting through cold calling, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Personalize outreach based on account research and the prospect’s business profile.
  • Qualify prospects based on the agreed target criteria.
  • Book qualified meetings for the sales or advisory team.
  • Maintain clean and accurate prospecting data in Google Sheets and the company’s CRM.
  • Track outreach activity, responses, follow-ups, and meeting outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the team to improve targeting, messaging, and lead quality.

Requirements
  • Based in South Africa.
  • Proven experience as an SDR, BDR, lead generation specialist, or outbound sales representative.
  • Previous experience working in or selling to the financial services sector.
  • Practical understanding of DIFC companies and the broader UAE financial-services ecosystem.
  • Good knowledge of family offices and different types of financial institutions.
  • Strong account and prospect research skills.
  • Confident using Google Sheets to organize, clean, filter, and track prospecting data.
  • Experience using LinkedIn and other online sources to identify companies and decision-makers.
  • Clear, neutral, and professional spoken English.
  • Strong written communication and outreach-personalization skills.
  • Comfortable speaking with senior financial-services decision-makers.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Able to explain previous results using clear activity and performance metrics.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience targeting family offices, investment firms, wealth-management companies, asset managers, fund managers, private equity firms, or other financial institutions.
  • Familiarity with the DIFC Public Register.
  • Experience conducting account-based prospecting.
  • Experience working with UAE or GCC markets.
  • Experience using a CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or sales-intelligence platforms.

What Success Looks Like

  • Accurate and well-researched target-account lists.
  • Strong understanding of each prospect before outreach begins.
  • Relevant, personalized conversations with financial-services decision-makers.
  • Consistent booking of qualified meetings.
  • Clean reporting and reliable follow-up management.
