Summary

SailGP is seeking a full-time Partnerships Coordinator to join the partnership team, reporting into the Senior Partnerships Manager, based centrally in London. This role will focus on partnership management and delivery for a variety of SailGP Suppliers in addition to being a pivotal resource supporting the wider SailGP Partnerships function. 

The successful candidate will manage SailGP assigned supplier relationships, executing rights delivery, managing at-event hospitality and experiences, developing activation plans and maintaining exemplary reporting demonstrating the ROI and delivery against objectives, with the support of the SailGP Partnerships Manager. 

The Partnerships Coordinator will play an integral role in the support of the wider partnerships function to ensure industry-leading servicing to SailGP Partners aross a variety of projects. 

This position requires good relationship management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders concurrently. Key Responsibilities

  • Report to the Senior Partnerships Manager, working collaboratively with the entire SailGP Partnerships team. 
  • Act as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned SailGP Suppliers, managing relationships, communications, meetings, requests and delivery timelines.
  • Translate contractual rights, partner objectives and regional requirements into clear delivery and activation plans.
  • Coordinate the cross-functional delivery of partnership rights and benefits, ensuring all requirements, approvals and deliverables are completed to a high standard and in line with contractual obligations including partner branding, activations, hospitality, guest programmes and other contracted event requirements, with the support of the Senior Partnerships Manager. 
  • Maintain accurate partnership plans and trackers, providing clear visibility of responsibilities, deadlines, risks, decisions and outstanding actions.
  • Prepare and deliver reporting for assigned suppliers, including status updates, post-event reports, KPI reporting, case studies and partner presentations.
  • Maintain the master rights and benefits matrix for SailGP partners - tracking partnership assets and deliverables through ongoing reporting and reconciliation. 
  • Support the wider partnerships function via creation and management of event documentation for all SailGP events including; event guestbooks, partnership overview and internal reporting of activation, event photography briefs, broadcast briefs and other similar documentation. 
  • Support the ongoing communication and updates to SailGP partners and suppliers with regular news, updates and upcoming events and deadlines via a regular SailGP Bulletin.
  • Manage the internal partnerships calendar of deadlines and ensure alignment across the partnerships team. 
  • Support the Partnerships Executive to collate and generate reporting templates for partnerships team throughout the season. 
  • Ensure the SailGP Partner hub is regularly updated with correct information. 
  • Other duties as reasonably required by SailGP to ensure the success and expansion of the technology partnership portfolio and in support of the wider partnerships function. 

Background Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a rights holder or sports agency environment.
  • Demonstrated experience of working in a sports partnership management environment.
  • Good understanding of partnership rights delivery, activation planning and event execution.
  • Strong project-management, organisational and time-management capability.
  • High attention to detail and confidence in maintaining delivery trackers, reporting documents and action plans.
  • Proven strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. 
  • Strong written communication, reporting and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, including Docs, Sheets, Slides and Drive.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

Location 

Based in the UK with a requirement of at least 3 days per week in the London office.
