The Role

As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers. This role is ideal for someone looking to launch a career in Tech sales and progress toward an Account Executive position and beyond.

In addition to prospecting responsibilities, you will also support Account Executives with key administrative, documentation, and handoff activities, and you may close smaller or fast-cycle deals over the phone when appropriate.

What do we want to achieve together?

  • Prospect and generate leads: Hunt down and research potential customers within target markets using tools like LinkedIn, CRM databases, and other resources — you're relentless about finding the right people to talk to.

  • Drive outbound outreach: Get on the phone and in the inbox with real energy — cold calling, emailing, and social media engagement to spark conversations with potential clients.

  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads: Assess prospect needs, pain points, and interest in our SaaS solution, separating real opportunities from the noise.

  • Set appointments and demos: Work closely with Account Executives to schedule meetings with qualified leads, seamlessly handing them into the sales funnel for further engagement.

  • Own your CRM: Keep sharp, accurate CRM records — every call, conversation, and outcome tracked and ready to act on.

  • Know your stuff: Stay on top of product knowledge and industry trends so you can articulate our value proposition with real confidence.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Team up with Marketing and Sales, feeding back on lead quality, messaging effectiveness, and campaign performance.

  • Show up and contribute: Bring your insights to regular team meetings and help sharpen our prospecting and sales strategies.

What do you need to be successful in this role?

  • Real sales experience: 2+ years of experience in telesales, sales, business development, or another customer-facing role — you know how to work a pipeline (SaaS experience is a plus, not a must).

  • Proven results: A track record of hitting numbers in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

  • Built for volume: You can juggle a full pipeline without dropping the ball — organised, even under pressure.

  • Strong communication skills: Exceptional written and verbal skills with a confident, engaging phone presence.

  •  Goal-driven and self-motivated: A competitive spirit and genuine hustle — you're driven to exceed targets, not just meet them.

  • Resilient: Thick skin — you take rejection in stride and keep pushing for the next lead.

  • Tech-savvy: Comfort with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools.

  •  Excellent organisation: Sharp organisational and time management skills.

What will you find working at INFINIT?

  • Competitive Salary and Equity: We offer highly competitive salaries and a stake in our success with share options because we're building this together.
  • Diverse and Inclusive Team: Join a dynamic and international team in excess of 8 nationalities. You'll have the chance to work with experienced professionals from around the world, fostering a rich learning environment.
  • Inspiring Mission: We are dedicated to revolutionizing business financing and making a positive impact on the European economy. Your work at INFINIT will have a lasting effect on businesses and communities.
  • Health and Well-being: Your health matters to us. You will have access to top-quality Medical & Mental Health Insurance.
  • Quality Time Together: We foster a sense of community with annual gatherings and bi-weekly office team gatherings. You're more than welcome to join us for quality time.
  • Personal Time Off: Enjoy flexibility with your personal time off.
  • Flexibility and Ownership: We trust our team and we are goal-oriented. Enjoy the flexibility of hybrid working 3 days a week in our London office and the rest from home.
