We’re looking for a Mobility Specialist to join our Reward team within our People function and play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our global mobility strategy. A role you will love
As a Mobility Specialist, you’ll act as the central expert for global mobility activity, partnering with employees, managers and cross functional teams across the UK and internationally. You’ll work closely with our external mobility partners, alongside our dedicated mobility coordinator and specialist tax advisers, while bringing strong understanding of everything that goes into making the mobility experience go smoothly for our employees. You’ll enjoy getting into the technical detail of immigration across all our key locations, particularly the UK and the US.
You’ll handle challenges with confidence, communicate clearly, including when delivering difficult messages, and operate with autonomy while knowing when to consult senior colleagues or external experts. You’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive team that values independence but provides the guidance you need to succeed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver a seamless, compliant mobility lifecycle covering transfers, assignments and relocations from pre assignment through repatriation
- Provide solution focused advice on immigration, tax and policy matters, researching complex issues and engaging internal specialists or external partners where required
- Coordinate and oversee external mobility vendors, proactively managing service quality and ensuring smooth delivery across immigration, relocation and tax services
- Support global mobility transformation by leading or contributing to projects that enhance processes, tools, workflows and the overall employee experience
What will you bring to the role?
We’re looking for someone who blends strong technical global mobility expertise with excellent communication and relationship building skills. You’ll be comfortable handling complex cases, influencing senior stakeholders, and translating technical concepts into clear, practical guidance. You’ll also bring the ability to understand systems, data flows and integration points that underpin global mobility operations.
Key experience and skills:
- Demonstrated hands on global mobility experience spanning immigration (with UK/US knowledge desirable), tax and social security fundamentals, and relocation processes
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including confidence working with senior leaders and the ability to deliver challenging or sensitive messages with clarity and composure
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms, ticketing systems or mobility technologies, with the ability to understand technical integrations and identify mobility related risk
- Experience working in a multinational environment and/or managing vendors and cross functional mobility processes
- Relevant qualifications such as CIPD or mobility accreditations (GMS, GMST, GMPD) are beneficial, as is a related degree
- Strong analytical thinking, resilience and the ability to balance compliance, cost, risk and employee experience effectively
- Note: This role is based in the UK and requires flexibility when partnering with a manager located on the US West Coast
