What does a Revenue Operations Manager do at Busuu?

You'll bring Marketing, Sales and Customer Success together, making sure the processes and systems that support our customer lifecycle work effectively as one.

Reporting to the Head of Revenue Operations, you'll take ownership of how these teams work together, from lead generation and pipeline creation through to onboarding, renewal and expansion. Acting as a trusted deputy, you'll turn business needs into clear processes, improve how our teams operate and help build the foundations for sustainable growth.

This is a hands-on role for someone who combines systems knowledge with commercial thinking and takes improvements through to implementation and adoption.

Your responsibilities:

Improve the customer lifecycle: Own processes and handoffs across Marketing, Sales and Customer Success, including lead progression, nurture, onboarding and renewal. Establish clear ownership and coordinate the operating process behind our target account list.

Lead marketing systems governance: Manage the handover of HubSpot from our external agency, document its setup and enable the Marketing team to take over day-to-day operations. Own standards for campaign tracking, taxonomy, integrations and data quality, and partner with Marketing on the HubSpot roadmap.

Coordinate reporting and revenue processes: Define reporting requirements for Marketing and Customer Success, working with Decision Intelligence on analytics and source-of-truth data. Partner with Finance to align operational workflows and revenue tracking with business needs.

Build consistent ways of working: Own Revenue Operations documentation, SOPs and playbooks. Train teams on processes and systems, and use AI tools where useful to improve workflows and efficiency.

What we’re looking for:

Essential

  • 3–5 years' experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, GTM Operations or a closely related Marketing Operations role within a SaaS, EdTech, subscription or technology business.
  • A strong understanding of how Marketing, Sales and Customer Success work together across acquisition, conversion, retention and expansion.
  • Practical experience with HubSpot and/or Salesforce, including workflows, configurations and data flows.
  • Experience improving cross-functional processes and turning business needs into clear operational requirements.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the confidence to challenge assumptions and influence without formal authority.
  • Confidence working with dashboards and reporting, validating data and identifying the information teams need to make decisions.
  • The ability to create clear, practical documentation and drive adoption of new processes and systems.

Desirable

  • Experience with HubSpot Marketing Hub, marketing automation or lead lifecycle management.
  • Knowledge of campaign taxonomy, UTM tracking, attribution, integrations or data enrichment.
  • Experience managing a technical handover from an external agency or vendor.
  • Familiarity with SQL, data warehouses or business intelligence tools.
  • Experience using AI to improve documentation, training or workflow automation.
  • Experience in commercial or financial analysis, particularly in a subscription-based business.

At Busuu we want to ensure that you have access to some great benefits

  • Our centrally located offices are well-equipped with free breakfast, plenty of snacks and fresh fruit.
  • 2 free lunches per week at our office that you can choose out of a wide selection of restaurants in the area.
  • Great Private Health Insurance scheme
  • We love to support our teams with their work-life balance so we offer flexible working hours, a hybrid and remote model of working.
  • Staying connected as a team is very important to us, so we have lots of social activities for you to join such as team lunches, Thursday socials, quarterly team, and company events.

We aim to have a simple and speedy hiring process and we want to make sure that we are right for you as much as the other way around.
