A Day in the Life:

 

The Revenue Manager’s primary focus is driving the business forward and delivering incremental revenue and profit across the Hertz portfolio of brands. Drawing from experience, managers act as coaches and mentors to team members, developing their capabilities and helping team members thrive, grow, and advance in their roles. In addition to championing their teams, Revenue Managers work closely with key business partners in operations, fleet, sales, and marketing to support continued revenue growth and strategic expansions across all business units.

What You’ll Do:


  • Managing Revenue Management analysts by communicating job expectations, coaching, and reviewing job performance, and ensuring standard work and processes are adhered to daily.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of current yield and pricing strategies, work closely with analysts to redesign, or change strategies as needed. Communicate important changes or opportunities to leadership team.
  • Lead or support cross-functional initiatives and projects that support revenue growth, product differentiation, and operational efficiencies. Present relevant insights and findings to senior leadership.
  • Own and drive CMS and RMS. Review the Forecast to ensure the recommendations provided are based on a solid projection of both future business conditions and the operational realities of the business.
  • Decide and input demand influences and/or changes to key system parameters as necessary based on any key findings. Keep RMS configuration current and review the system regularly to drive the maximum yield.
  • Produce weekly peak on rent forecast, driving alignment with business partners to maintain desired inventory levels.
  • Assist with the adoption of new processes, tools, and systems in standard work. Be a strong advocate for effective change.
  • Monitor, Plan & Execute against fleet planning and forecast.
  • Drive a daily call with Logistics to review and act on recommendations from CMS. Attend the country pricing calls, lead the weekly Fleet Planning Workshops.
  • Monitor and plan for holidays and special events up to one year ahead.
  • Work with Sales and Operations to ensure overall Revenue Per Unit is maximized and on rent peaks and troughs are smoothed out as much as possible.

What We’re Looking For:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, analytical, or businessrelated field such as Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or Engineering.
  • Proven experience in Revenue Management, Pricing, Yield Management, or Demand Planning, ideally within transportation, mobility, hospitality, travel, logistics, or another capacitydriven industry.
  • Strong commercial and analytical acumen, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and translate insights into clear pricing and revenue strategies.
  • Demonstrated success in optimising pricing, improving utilisation, and driving revenue performance across multiple markets or product lines.
  • Proficiency with forecasting tools, pricing systems, and data visualisation platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), along with strong Excel skills.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and collaborate closely with Data, Operations, Finance, and Commercial teams to drive aligned decisionmaking.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to present recommendations to senior stakeholders and challenge assumptions when needed.
  • A proactive, curious mindset with a passion for continuous improvement, process optimisation, and innovation in revenue strategy.
  • Experience leading or mentoring analysts is a plus, as is familiarity with fleetbased or multilocation operational environments.
