Job Description:

Darktrace is looking for a Revenue IT Platforms Owner to take technical ownership of a portfolio of SaaS platforms supporting our global revenue organisation.

Initially focused on Gong, you'll be responsible for ensuring the platform is reliable, secure, well-governed and able to scale with the business. Over time, you'll extend this ownership model across additional Revenue IT platforms, helping us build a consistent and scalable approach to managing our wider go-to-market technology ecosystem.

Working closely with Business Owners, Revenue Operations, Enablement and teams across Enterprise Technology, Data, Architecture and Security, you'll translate business priorities into well-governed platform changes and technical roadmaps.

This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of business-critical SaaS technology, combining platform administration, product ownership and stakeholder management to make sure our revenue platforms are delivering effectively today while being ready for what the business needs next.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Own the technical operation and roadmap for Gong initially, expanding over time into additional Revenue IT SaaS platforms.
  • Maintain and prioritise a technical backlog covering platform health, configuration, integrations, security, compliance and lifecycle requirements.
  • Partner with Business Owners and Revenue Operations to understand priorities and translate agreed requirements into scalable platform solutions.
  • Provide technical input into new demand, assessing feasibility, effort, risk, dependencies and ongoing support requirements.
  • Own platform administration, including configuration, provisioning, licences, permissions, privileged access and security controls.
  • Monitor platform and integration health, ensuring issues have clear ownership and are identified and resolved effectively.
  • Manage technical incidents and defects through to resolution, including escalation and coordination with SaaS vendors where required.
  • Translate business requirements into technical options, platform specifications, user stories and implementation plans.
  • Coordinate platform configuration, integrations, testing and releases, working with the relevant teams to deliver changes safely and effectively.
  • Partner with Architecture, Data and Security teams on complex or higher-impact platform changes.
  • Provide platform expertise and release information to support Enablement-led training, onboarding, communications and adoption.
  • Track and communicate platform health, technical risks, dependencies, costs and service performance in clear business language.
  • Develop repeatable processes and governance that can be applied as additional Revenue IT platforms move into the portfolio.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience owning, administering or supporting SaaS business platforms, ideally within a revenue technology environment using platforms such as Gong, Gainsight, Salesforce, Xactly, Outreach, ZoomInfo, Nooks and similar.
  • Strong product ownership skills, including roadmap development, backlog management and prioritisation across one or more technology platforms.
  • Experience managing platform administration, configuration, governance, vendor relationships and operational support.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and repeatable platform practices.
  • Good understanding of SaaS integrations and how business platforms interact across a wider technology ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of revenue operations, sales effectiveness, customer lifecycle processes or commercial technology environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across both business and technical teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and drive them through to resolution.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery and change environments.
  • Comfortable taking ownership in a fast-moving environment where platforms, priorities and business requirements continue to evolve.

Nice to Have
  • Direct experience administering or owning Gong, with an understanding of conversation intelligence or revenue intelligence platforms.
  • Experience integrating revenue platforms with Salesforce, CRM, Customer Success, identity or enterprise data platforms.
  • Knowledge of conversation intelligence, sales productivity and the wider go-to-market technology landscape.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of SaaS applications, including licence optimisation, platform governance and vendor management.
  • Experience with reporting or analytics platforms such as Power BI.
  • Product Owner, Agile or relevant SaaS platform certifications.

Benefits:

  • 23 days’ holiday + all public holidays, rising to 25 days after 2 years of service,

  • Additional day off for your birthday,

  • Private medical insurance which covers you, your cohabiting partner and children,

  • Life insurance of 4 times your base salary,

  • Salary sacrifice pension scheme,

  • Enhanced family leave,

  • Confidential Employee Assistance Program,

  • Cycle to work scheme.

As a growing business strengthening its governance and controls, this role plays a part in supporting high standards of integrity and accountability.
