A Network Digital Twin is an emulation of a wireless network that can analyse and manipulate complex telecommunications systems. Network Digital Twins are a key technology for the evolution of 6G networks and for enabling further network enhancement and growth.

This position is based in Stockholm, Sweden. In your application, please describe how your experience and skills can advance the evolution of Network Digital Twins.
What you will do:

• Create advanced components for Network Digital Twins.
• Invent, implement, and run large-scale evaluations.
• Collaborate with teams across Ericsson and with leading academic groups.
• Work in a dynamic team with opportunities for learning and taking on new responsibilities.

The skills you bring:
We welcome outstanding graduates and experienced researchers who are passionate about Network Digital Twin technology. You:

• Hold an M.Sc. or Ph.D. in a relevant technical field.
• Are an exceptional problem solver with a passion for innovation.
• Are a proficient algorithm developer who writes high-quality and efficient code.
• Are curious, collaborative, and able to communicate complex ideas clearly.
• Are familiar with ray-tracing concepts and radio-propagation models.
• Have knowledge of neural-rendering techniques for recovering 3D scene geometry.
• Have hands-on experience with 3D reconstruction, 3D scene representations, and 2D-3D or 3D-3D matching techniques.
• Have hands-on experience with semantic segmentation and object-detection techniques.

Relevant programming and technology experience includes Python, C/C++, Java, C#, JavaScript, Rust, MATLAB, Simulink, PyTorch, TensorFlow, JIT, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
The following are considered a plus:

• Knowledge of satellite-based earth sensing and positioning.
• Experience with optical, LiDAR, or radar systems and their calibration.
• Familiarity with 3D CAD, BIM, or similar tools.
• Hands-on experience with radio measurements.
