  • Represent Monocle professionally when working with guests, interviewees, readers and high-profile figures

What we’re looking for

  • At least two to three years’ experience within a busy, globally minded editorial environment
  • Strong writing, research, editing and fact-checking skills
  • Sound editorial judgement and an instinct for angles that feel relevant and distinctive to Monocle
  • A developing international network of contacts and the confidence to build new relationships
  • A genuine interest in global affairs, business, design, travel, culture and the way people live
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage several deadlines at once
  • A proactive, resourceful approach and a willingness to get involved wherever needed
  • The flexibility to travel when stories and projects require it
