We are Analysys Mason, the award-winning specialist management consultancy for business-critical technology and digital infrastructure. We help clients make high stakes technology decisions with confidence, and we turn those decisions into action.

We provide bespoke strategy, transaction support and transformation consulting. Our work is combined with research and insights that draw on forty years of proprietary data and experience, giving our teams the evidence and clarity to support complex business decisions and to shape what comes next.

Since 1985 we have grown to 400+ professionals across 17 offices in 13 countries, and our experts have delivered work in more than 140 countries.

Our vision is to be the leading authority and catalyst for digital change, connectivity and inclusion. We help businesses, governments and investors use technology to create a world that is more connected, competitive, sustainable and secure.

Job Description

As a Research Analyst, you will have the opportunity to build a broad understanding of the role of an analyst by researching and creating thought provoking content across tech-intensive industries. This will give you exposure to a wide range of subject areas and help you develop a strong, well‑rounded view of the market.

You will work closely with experts, learning from them directly while developing your analyst skills through practical and often client‑facing work. Through this hands‑on experience, you will also gain a clear understanding of what we do as a company and how we play a significant role in the world of business‑critical technology.

The role has a strong track record of building solid early‑career foundations, with analysts trusted with meaningful responsibility from an early stage. This creates a steep learning curve and a clear path towards becoming an expert yourself.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • collecting data via extensive desk-based research
  • excel modelling and forecasting, including working with and manipulating large data sets
  • researching market developments to identify trends and draw conclusions on future outlooks
  • writing short reports on industry topics, including country and regional forecast reports
  • engaging with clients and industry stakeholders with the support of your manager
  • proactively developing your market knowledge by tracking industry developments, including attending events and webinars
  • and more.

Qualifications

If you are analytical and structured in your approach, and comfortable using Excel while keen to continue developing your skills, this could be a strong fit for you.

You will have completed a degree from any academic background (including STEM, humanities, and others), and enjoy working with numbers, as we are a quantitative, data‑driven business.

You will also have some experience working in a professional environment and collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders as part of day‑to‑day work.

As long as you are keen to learn about the sector, you do not need to have a technical background. Many of our analysts build their expertise after joining us.

You must also be fluent in English and be able to start in June or July of 2026.

Additional Information

On top of an exciting opportunity, we offer many attractive benefits, including:

  • annual bonus
  • 25 days of annual leave
  • employer pension contribution
  • enhanced maternity leave
  • enhanced family leave (paternity, adoption, shared, etc)
  • private health and dental care
  • mental wellbeing app
  • flexible working
  • your birthday off
  • stepped career progression
  • continuous training for professional and personal development
  • career coaching programmes
  • volunteering days
  • Cycle-to-work scheme

We are proud to be an equal-opportunities employer and ensure fair work practices for all our employees, clients, candidates and other associated persons.
