Manage and optimize the renewals process to drive retention and revenue. Engage customers, forecast and report on renewal opportunities, maintain key relationships, analyze subscription and contract data, and support renewal strategy and execution with CRM and sales tools.
We are looking for a Renewals Operations Manager to join our Renewals sales teams.
About You — experience, education, skills, and accomplishments- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in renewals, sales operations, customer success, account management, or a related commercial role.
- Proven track record of managing customer relationships and achieving sales, renewal, retention, or revenue targets.
- Experience creating, updating, and analyzing reports related to subscription activity, contract status, renewal performance, or sales metrics.
- Experience providing accurate forecasts, updates, and insights on renewal opportunities to leadership or senior stakeholders.
- Strong working knowledge of CRM systems, sales tools, and technologies used to support sales or renewal processes.
- Experience working in a subscription-based, SaaS, information services, or technology-enabled business.
- Experience supporting renewal planning and contributing to sales or retention strategies.
- Strong understanding of market trends and how they influence customer needs, retention, and renewal decisions.
- Engage with customers to identify renewal opportunities, understand specific needs, and provide advanced support throughout the renewal process.
- Leverage in-depth product knowledge to highlight value-added solutions that meet customer needs and support renewal sales.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with key customers through strategic communication and exceptional service to support satisfaction and loyalty.
- Provide renewal sales planning and contribute to the development and execution of comprehensive sales strategies.
- Create, update, and analyze detailed reports on subscription activities, contract status, renewal performance, and key metrics.
- Continuously build knowledge of Clarivate’s product offerings and market trends to improve renewal sales effectiveness.
- Drive achievement of sales and renewal targets.
- Provide regular updates and insights on renewal opportunities and deliver accurate forecasts to leadership.
This is a full-time, permanent position, primarily working core business hours in the UK, with flexibility to collaborate with global stakeholders as needed.
This is a hybrid position based in our London office, working in the office up to 3 days a week.
